Our stay lacked the finesse of usual high standards at Hyatt.
No handwash in the bathroom of our room.
Swimming pool area including change rooms in dire need of an update. Damp areas and old cabinets.
At the price we paid $355 per night, breakfast should be included.

The hotel was very well located and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only negative I have is, that only one of the 2 lifts for the 3 days I was there which was a headache at times due to the numbers waiting to use it.

Great stay always my first choice when flying out of Tullamarine. I can park my car at United stay at Mantra catch curtsey bus to airport. Easy no stress great way to start my holiday. Reception staff always friendly & helpful. Only one thing needs updating restaurant menu & food service, uninteresting & unappetizing (half cooked hard not crunchy fries & over cooked rubbery calamari) at $34.00 not worth the money, next time I will uber eats.

A thoroughly liveable city, Melbourne has a buzzy vibe and an Aussie sense of fun. There’s always something going on, and one of its many festivals is Moomba – Australia’s largest free arts festival. Well worth a visit are the National Gallery of Victoria and the Melbourne Aquarium, whose highlight is walking through a clear tunnel as sharks swim over your head.
The city’s most recognisable landmark is Flinders Street Station, whose yellow and green façade matches the colour of the historic Melbourne trams that still run around the world’s longest tram network. Keep an eye out for the street art as you travel.
Shopping in Melbourne is fantastic. Queen Victoria Market is the largest open-air market south of the Equator, while the La Trobe Street shopping centre has over 300 stores. For food, don’t miss Little Italy - the Carlton area.
South of the Yarra River is St Kilda, home to the best beach and Albert Park, where the F1 Australian Grand Prix is held. However, this is not the city’s only sporting heritage. It’s also the home of Aussie Rules football and the MCG, a must-see for cricket fans.
Booking.com has a range of Melbourne accommodation from hotels to hostels and motels, some near Melbourne Airport.
Docklands Vibe hotel. Just outside the main city area, far enough away from the hussel and bussel, but with very easy access in and out of the city. The free tram service is only 50meters from the hotel. So a great location to explore the city and all it has to offer.

There is always something to do when you visit Melbourne.
There is always something to do when you visit Melbourne. NGV and Brian Potter Galleries are fantastic. I would say they are the best in Australia, followed by the Art Gallery of South Australia (and all three are free to see.)
The food scene in Melbourne is great, but prices displayed by restaurants/cafes should include both credit card and extra fees (weekend etc) beforehand. The place we ate at in one of the touristy alleys off Flinders Lane included the card fee in our bill despite the fact we paid cash. Just watch out how you are charged. We found Brunetti cafe ( Flinders Lane) to be much better in quality and was actually cheaper in price. Maybe it is because the locals go there.

This trip I visited Carlton (little Italy) for authentic Tiramisu and the movies
Walked around Queen Victoria markets which are always great for fresh food. (being renovated so watch for updates)
Visited NGV to see Yayoi Kazuma exhibition (wow) and Asian exhibitions
Trams everywhere so keep your Miki card topped up BUT CBD is free so catch No 35 for a city tour
City is constantly changing with the new metro stations beig built so check before travel for any changes to locations etc
Took in some shopping from city arcades and op shops (amazing)
Food & coffee everywhere to meet all budgets and yes some still do take cash! NB ordering via QR code is quite the thing but you can still order at the counter the old fashioned way!
Tourist maps on most street corners in cbd to help you out or just ask at a visitor kiosk

It is beautiful scenery in balcony of 1 bedroom apartment. It is very NICE of 1bedroom apartment more spacious with dish washer and washing machine than Melbourne CBD Hotel rooms.
Reception staff are very friendly. I left valuable in lobby and he did CALL to inform me and hold in office for me.
It is very GOOD of family with children to stay in 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities etc. It is EXPENSIVE to go out to eat in Melbourne for dinner relatively to Brisbane and Adelaide. GOOD kitchen in apartment.
YEHS Hotel Melbourne CBD is very conveniently located in the city centre of Melbourne. It's only a five-minute walk from the Southern Cross station. The hotel's location and the kindness of its staff were the only things that were nice about my stay there.
The beauty of the original fittings has been preserved. We were only in Melbourne overnight but the hotel's location near Southbank, the river gardens, free cbd tram and the central district allowed us to really enjoy the time.
1. Downstairs grocery store
2. A brand-new, modern apartment
3. Melbourne CBD apartments with a midrange price range
4. Reliable shower water pressure
5. There is good security
6. 6 minutes to free tram station on foot
Friendly staff, good North Melbourne location, convenient to tram routes to CBD etc and easy walking distance to local amenities. Apartments are spacious, with full kitchen and have potential to be more pleasant to stay.
