The staff at the clubs are always great and helpful. The down side for our stay this time was getting a meal at the local Chinese restraunt on Meninya Street. I asked twice if the seasame prawn toast was made on site because it was so expensive. We visited for the Riverboats Festival in Echuca. Moama is sleepy little town with accommodation from camping to high end, venues, ample strip shops and vibrant Sunday market. Just across the river to a more vibrant Echuca if you need a contemporary vibe and tourist attractions. Moama is a good place to stay if you are visiting the Echuca/Moama area. Bit quieter than downtown Echuca with convenient facilities and only 5 mins to most attractions. Bowling Club is a good place to eat and visit. The Sunday market was remarkable and needless to say we bought a lot of things. The short distance to Echuca means you have access to a lot of different restaurants, river activities and groceries in both Moama and Echuca. We also found a great cafe on Meninya Ave with great food, service and very friendly staff. We went to the Moama RSL for dinner one night and were treated perfectly, a great family food and entertainment place. Thee is also a great op shop with a tea room for those that love scones and jam. I informed her there was plenty of car parks available park anywhere the hotel was not booked out.
