Moura – 3 hotels and places to stay

Situated in the heart of Dawson Valley, Moura Meridian Motel offers modern accommodation with free WiFi and free undercover parking.

For the price and location it was perfectly fine. Having limited food options in the town, inhouse dinning was a plus. Room was nice and spacious.

Situated in Banana, Banana Hotel Motel has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi. Boasting an ATM, this property also provides guests with a children's playground.

Reasonably spacious room. Good playground if you had kids. Lots of traffic but you couldn't hear it inside the room. Staff was helpful but busy in the hotel.

Short stay on the way through to Hervey Bay, but it was lovely to see the silo art and also the miners’ memorial (sobering to say the least); it was a fitting tribute to these men. Sadly, because it was that in between Christmas and New Year period, one of the best cafes, The Atmosphere Cafe, was closed. A lovely employee at the Coal and Cattle Hotel recommended it.

The local Indian restaurant/ cafe was exceptional.

The local Indian restaurant/ cafe was exceptional. The Mitre 10 was the best looking store in town, as we normally find in regional towns! The Chinese restaurant was not open, even though the Google search said it would be. It is a quiet town, near to a coal mine, so many FIFO workers around

We were warned of snakes, but thankfully didn't see any. Room was superb and staff helpful and friendly. We were in Moura to visit our son & family and celebrate our 65th Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have had a better place to stay.l

It allowed me to have a look around Moura and have a good rest. The bed was comfortable and it had clean linen. The chef in the bistro cooked a good meal in the evening. Breakfast was decent quality food.
