Fabulous place! Close enough to walk to dinner at the hotel and brunch at the cafe. Great spot for day trips to Bright, Beechworth, Yakandandah, Myrtleford etc. Comfy bed, clean bathroom with good hot shower. Lovely spot to have breakfast on the patio.
Ceiling fan, split system, fan heater for the bathroom, hair dryer, first aid kit, great small kitchen.

The Bakery Cottage is a real gem. So much love and thought has gone into creating this divine country stay. It is like staying in a 5 star luxury hotel. The bed and bedding so inviting and super comfortable. Lounge area also so beautifully inviting made me regret bringing my bike with plans for extensive cycling.
Hosts could not have been more welcoming and super helpful. As mentioned had ambitions to do some big rides. Megan and James able to provide no end of helpful route advice and offers of transport support. Managed to get a few rides in which were great but very keen to get back to cottage and soak up feel good nature of the place.

The stand-alone hut was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. It was perfect for a two-person getaway, but can accommodate two more in a slightly smaller room—the adjacent ensuite has a shower, but no bath. A fully functional kitchen (the hob is induction) with all the pots and implements you might require, but bring your own supplies as the nearest general store is in Whitfield. The wifi, provided via Starlink, is probably better than what you have a home. The television is loaded with a plethora of entertainment apps, including Spotify so that you can listen to chill tunes pumped over the internet through Bose speakers. Take some time to venture to the nearby King Valley to sample some wines at any of the vineyards or beers at King River Brewing, and meet some really friendly people.
