Fantastic property, with a great view at the rear of the property on the river. Property is located in an excellent area, where there is many places to explore. I'll be returning in other seasons, on some motorcycle trips.

Peony Farm Pink Cottage is located in Stanley, just 29 miles from Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre and 31 miles from Bowser Station.

The property and location was perfect. Beautiful decor, really comfy bed and pet friendly. Our dog loved it, and there was plenty of space for her to run around. BBQ was great given the nice weather and there were lots of nice touches. Short drive to the beautiful town of Beechworth, and Stanley is so pretty to drive through.

We were in the area to ride the rail trails and Myrtleford is in a good location for that purpose. It is central to other towns in the area. Reclaim cafe and the Happy Valley hotel were two favoured places to eat. The mosaic walk along the Ovens river is very pleasant.

This motel is well positioned at the entrance to the town however, the entry could be somewhat confusing at night - lighting guides. There would appear be upgrading ad moderisation in progress which will elevate the property appeal. The greeting at reception felt more like an induction rather that a welcome - somewhat stressed. We wish the owners well.

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful town as we were just stopping overnight on our way into Bright. Myrtleford has showcased to us the golden brown foliage and light purple sky during the sunset. The streets are very neat and clean. It has good walking trails, nice places for dinner and coffee in the morning and the manager at the i is most friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely alpine country community.

Myrtleford is a beautiful town in the heart of a great wine and food region. Access from the Hume Highway is easy to navigate, and the town is located as an easy drive from either Melbourne, or Canberra. A great weekend away. Make sure to visit Beechworth whilst in the region, as you will find great local shopping with lovely clothing stores and amazing jewellery stores!
