Smallish country town with good facilities and shops that you would expect in a town this size. My wife loved the ladies dress shop, and there were several places to choose from for eating. Neat and tidy place. We did a day trip north and found a great bakery at Goomeri with French style pastries. Yum.

Absolutely nowhere to have a decent meal on a Saturday , Sunday or Monday nights in the town . I would never book to stay in the town again on those nights unless there was somewhere open for a proper meal

No pubs open for meals on Monday night.
No pubs open for meals on Monday night. There were a handful of takeaway places.Plenty of people stayed at the Showgrounds in their campers. The flowerbeds around the town were lovingly tended to. A clean, and tidy town.

We decided to stay somewhere different for our regular trip to Nanango and saw the Cooper Country Motor Inn. We liked the idea that there was a dinning room there, unfortunately it was closed the night we stayed. we understand that the owner had an accident and was unable to work at full capacity. We were also disappointed that the grounds had been neglected a little but also understand that this was probably due to the above.
Doug & Chris excellent hosts very friendly and helpful go over and above to meet your every need.
Fantastic accommodation lovely homely details, very roomy, clean and comfortable with beautiful rural views. Awesome sunrises and sunsets.
Delicious breakfast with farm fresh eggs. 24/7 community kitchen facilities.
Lovely short rural drive from Nanango.
Highly recommend for a quiet get away.
Very friendly greeting. Pleasant to deal with owner. Small maintenance issue which was attended to very promptly. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at HOMESTEAD, NANANGO.
