Easy check in and check out.. Absolutely beautiful location and rooms were great value for money. Great venue for smokers as they are not expected to leave the building for a smoke. And just a short stroll for amazing food.. 100% recommend..
Just 50 metres from the beautiful Manning River, Marco Polo Motor Inn Taree offers reverse cycle air-conditioned accommodation with tea/coffee making facilities and a microwave.
I really enjoyed the Old Bar Beach Festival. It was very well organised and lots to see and do.
The surrounding areas of Old Bar were so pretty with lots of nice walks. Shopping was well set out. Nothing was never far away.

We went for the Old Bar Beach Festival during the October long weekend. Very well run with lots to do/see for everyone: Kombis(!), markets, live music, food vans, kids' entertainment and rides area. The beaches are great and we particularly enjoyed Saltwater National Park just a few kilometres to the south. Old Bar would be great to visit at other times as well. Great area for family holidays.

We didn't stay long in Old Bar during the day as we had plans in Taree, but found staying at Old Bar with the short trip to Taree far better than staying in Taree, and if we have to go again would stay at Old Bar.

Small but quaint surf town. Would spend longer next time.
Small but quaint surf town. Would spend longer next time. Tried to have dinner as walk-ins to the Flow Bar but it was all booked out so we ended up eating at the the Old Bar Village Cafe and had a wonderful meal with the very friendly proprietor.

Close bottle shop with friendly service. Great cafes everywhere and some unique shops for gift buying. Great town centre a short drive away and the beaches were beautiful. Very clean and tidy town
The club next door is very busy and service is good. Town folk are friendly and the hotel provide you with a membership card for a discount at the club! Great meals and the cocktails were great!

If you are looking for another Byron Bay, forget it.
If you are looking for another Byron Bay, forget it. It is an almost unspoilt coastal village with a long beach, surf, bush and at least one really terrific restaurant (Sai Thai). Lovely people and some interesting little nooks and crannies ... a berry farm where you can buy berries when in season, and a day spa. Helpful locals and the basic servies (medical centre, pharmacy, bottle shop, pub and (uh-oh!) a Coles supermarket that is, however, not too flashy but has everything you need. Not far off the M1 up the coast and worth staying a night or three. A lovely alternative to Taree.

Beautiful location in a national park, friendly host, very comfy, clean and tidy 2 bedroom cabin with air con and fans, fireplace. It was super quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Loved the pool & spa, has a really nice undercover outdoor BBQ area and recreation room, awesome place to stay for a relaxing getaway. Cute farm animals, tracks to explore, short drive into the town Old Bar for restaurants and supermarket. Will definitely return, highly recommend.
We stayed in room 3 for one night and only had one extra guest staying at the house during our stay. The room was spacious and clean. We had a great night's sleep. It was quiet and dark, and the bed was very comfy. The coffee and treats were a lovely bonus. We loved the use of the bikes and rode around Old Bar exploring the area.
The Bowie room was uniquely “Bowie” and for a couple of big fans this was cool. It had a nice bath, just big enough for 2, with water jets. The bed was comfy, the hotel was 2 minutes walk from a lovely beach. After dinner (in town) we relaxed on the veranda listening to the calming sound of surf. What’s not to love?
It was a nice surprise to find a new, comfortable hotel near a club. Everything I was looking for. Lovely king bed and well set out room. We had a lovely meal at the club. Will be back for the buffet lunch.
The location was beautiful, tranquil, peaceful. Very comfortable accommodation. Great little walks around the property. Close to Old Bar to go and have lunch, dinner.
