Located in Point Lookout and with Home Beach reachable within 80 metres, Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and barbecue facilities.

Everything!!! The hostel was clean, calm, bright, 50m from the most beautiful beach with large, tidy and well equiped kitchen. The stuff is super nice and helpful. I wasn't diving, but I had the most relaxing weekend by far. I can't wait to come back :)

Apartment was clean and nice. It is near everything that matters especially Main Beach and beautiful North Gorge walk. Fans in each room is always good, kitchen, furniture and choices of it were nice, balcony nearly perfect.

Situated in Point Lookout, just 1.7 km from Cylinder Beach, Studio 9 features beachfront accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi.

Located in a great spot, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Loads of parking, spacious room with a large bed and overall clean. We enjoyed our stay! My only recommendation to the owner would be to get some block out blinds as it was quite bright in the morning.

Everything! The hosts were as great as the view! Could not recommend this accommodation highly enough. It was very clean and very comfortable. And within walking distance to the many cafes. Would definitely stay here again.

    We loved being at Point Lookout.

    We loved being at Point Lookout. Lots of lovely cafes and a very relaxed vibe. We had dinner both nights of our stay at 6 Beaches. Everything about that experience was wonderful. Cocktails made by the hand of an artist, delicious meals, fantastic service and views and breezes to help make a relaxed meal.

    Favourite places - Flinders Beach, South Gorge Beach, Main Beach, Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel, Point Lookout Bowls Club, Blue Room Cafe Ate at Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel, Point Lookout Bowls Club. Both are good. Bingo night at Bowls Club was a hoot and well organised. Kids loved the old-style night out. Best coffee I thought (Fonzi Abbott coffee) was at Blue Room Cafe - nice aspect also. Easy to get around Point Lookout with a car and public transport available (bus). 4WD access to numerous beaches very easy. lots of flagged areas for kids to swim and surf.

    Beautiful quiet location.fabulous walks. Different beaches, surf at Pt Lookout, calm water at Cylinder beach. Pub great meals and drinks Easy access to Island by fast ferry or vehicular barges,connecting with regular busses.Wonderful place for families on wide uncluttered and uncrowded beaches,

    The site is beautiful, but the studio is down the hill with no facilities around and a very steep road to go down any shop. Everything was closed on Wednesday and no food delivery in this area, unable to eat anything on Wednesday night

    Lack of ATM facilities apart from Bob’s(local everything shop) and Bowl Club. Great walks and vast beaches. Endearing wildlife , especially curlers and kangaroos everywhere and relatively tame Well kept homes hoon free (apart from weekend rd!) good bus service($10 return across island. Good rock and beach fishing. Cylinder beach good at times for surfing. Good camping/ caravan grounds. Bowls club 7 day kitchen . This year (2024) excellent food. Shops at the point also food and gelato shop.will be back next year

    I wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel was comfy and clean. I also like the serenity and the backyard bush. It was overly wonderful except that the bed was a bit noisy when you are doing something you know. Lol
