I reached late at night and left early morning just at sunrise to get a glimpse of sunrise rays falling at the peaks of 12 Apostles. Its just 10 mins drive from the Southern Ocean Motor Inn. The queen bed first floor room has amazing sea view.

Disliked that our room was underground! Our window was literally people’s legs waking down the road. No view at all-2/3 the window w the “garden view” was covered with shades that were permanently down.
The hotel should be clear some rooms are underground!

The house is brilliantly located and you couldn't wish for a better balcony in Port Campbell. The house is very well stocked for amenities, and we appreciated the different teas and ways to make coffee. The ground coffee provided for the plunger was fresh.
The beds were remarkably comfortable that we almost overslept. They also allowed a one night stay.

WE generally stay overnight in Port Campbell as it is in the near The Apostles and other major Great Ocean Road attractions.
The weather in the area is unpredictable and it allows you to go back the next morning to view the areas in different light

Right in the heart of the Port, safe beach.
Right in the heart of the Port, safe beach. Plenty of food options. Close to Great Ocean Road and the Apostles and Arch, which are a must see. Plenty of places around to visit as well, Camperdown, Cobden, Apollo Bay, Timboon, all with different activities and food.

For a small town, Port Campbell was perfect.
For a small town, Port Campbell was perfect. We were able to self cater using supplies from the supermarket. There was a variety of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops suitable for everyone.
The pavement and road are being redeveloped but once this is complete, the area will be greatly enhanced.
There are some lovely walks in the area, the beach is small but safe and Port Campbell itself is perfectly located for exploring all the major sights on the Ocean Road

Unfortunately the road and footpaths inn the main shopping precinct were being reverbised. As my wife requires a mobility aid we missed out on anything in the Main Street. When the work is finished I’m sure it will look pretty good.

Do not recommend staying here for the next 6 months.
Do not recommend staying here for the next 6 months. Tough on the local businesses I know, they should be being compensated. The whole main street is a building site with very poor pedestrian access to the few businesses trying to stay operating.

We started our Great Ocean Drive from Port Campbell, it is easy to walk to the town center get in quick if you want a meal. We ended up eating at the local pizza place "Real Pizza & Salads" I would not go there again they are focused on the business not customer pleasure! You feel like a number not a person and you are the customer. Another thing is if you don't make a reservation you are not allowed to sit inside even if tables are available you freeze and they don't care.

We have stayed all over Port Campbell, so one might say we have tested out all the beds. We were really happy with our stay at the Portside Motel. Our apartment was well laid out, roomy and clean, beds were comfy. Our car always had a parking spot. We had netflix and decent wifi. The staff were just lovely and the cat was so cute we wanted to take him home. Walking distance into town. I'm sure we'll stay here again. Do yourselves a favour and stay an extra night and enjoy Port Campbell.
This place is exceeding my wife's expectation. We don't expect much since Port Campbell is just a small town, but this motel provides a cozy atmosphere and is quite clean. The owner has good sense of style. The equipment is not very new but is maintained quite well. The furniture and other things got aged, but it all adds up to a feeling of being at home.
The location is great, adjacent to the Port Campbell main beach and walking distance to great fish and chip shop or a bit further to the Port Campbell pub which has great views to the beach. Unfortunately the photos on the the website are just 3 rooms which have that view.
A lovely unit in an excellent location, walking distance to trails and Port Campbell town. Some nice touches including neutral decor and functional kitchen.
