The apartment was really clean and had everything you could need to cook, clean etc. Good size with a balcony, pool and gym. Great location for the beach, for K'gari trip pickups and the Greyhound bus stop. Would definitely stay again.

The Surf and Sand 4WD Safari to the Cooloola Coloured Sands...
The Surf and Sand 4WD Safari to the Cooloola Coloured Sands and Double Island Point Lighthouse was the highlight of the trip. The walk to Carlo's Sandblow and the local cafes and bakery were great. Everything had to be squeezed into 48 hours in between torrential rain downpours. We were unable to fully avail ourselves of the resorts outdoor activities. Maybe next time with better weather.

So close to everything, lovely apartment, great pool area and lovely receptionist, Renae. Had a great lunch at the Rainbow Beach Hotel and a lovely dinner at Arcobaleno. Little Parliament is also excellent for coffee and breakfast.

Rainbow beach is a lovely place to unwind and relax and take in the atmosphere. We can highly recommend the Surf club for dinner. And if you love gelato, Creme de la Creme is amazing, with heaps of flavours to choose from.
It's a great little coastal town, with lots to offer. It's easy to get around on foot and the beach is great.

If you have a 4WD it is definitely worth going to Double Island Point and checking out the lagoon and the lighthouse. The main township area is nice but has grown in popularity over the years and to really enjoy the serenity it is better to pick a beach spot a few minutes drive away (you will need a 4WD). Then head back into town for a nice meal at the Sports Club or the Surf Club or enjoy a beverage at sunset from The Deck.

This was our first trip to Rainbow Beach. It was amazing.
This was our first trip to Rainbow Beach. It was amazing. We went on the bus tour to K’gari which was a must see. We saw all the main attractions on the Island - Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, The Pinnacles, Maheno shipwreck, K’gari resort for lunch, and central station.
We saw dolphins, whales, jellyfish, dingoes and even dingo pups.
Carlo sand blow is worth a visit as get view to Tin can bay to the west and Rainbow Beach to the east.
Also dolphin feeding at Tin can bay is great too. Get there for 8am dolphin feeding.

Great house, well set up for a share with 2 families to stay...
Great house, well set up for a share with 2 families to stay, 2 seperate lounge rooms, 2 bathrooms, easy access for 4wds under carport and great location to walk to local shops and clubs, the Surf club had the best food.
Bowling club food was average, they are undergoing renovations and the paint smell was overpowering, easy to drive to local supermarket IGA

This is my go to spot when we visit Rainbow Beach and now I have found my favourite unit within the complex. Rainbow Ocean Palms Resort is always well kept, spacious and very comfortable. The view from some of the units is absolutely stunning. Its location is perfect ... far enough away from the maddening crowd but you can still hear the rhythmic sound of the waves breaking on the sea shore. I so wish I could visit a whole heap more.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is also lovely to sit around. The staff were so helpful, especially Sabrina at reception who helped with getting towels and laundry detergent :) I’d highly recommend this hostel for people looking to stay in Rainbow Beach before and after a trip to K’Gari Island!
The room is conveniently located in Rainbow beach and very easy to find. The property has all the amenities you would expect. It was very comfortable and clean. Extremely good value for money. Our host is very friendly. Would happily stay here again.
The hostel has a very relaxed environment and is situated in a decent location in rainbow beach with both shops, cafes and the beach within roughly a 5 minute walk. The room was fairly clean and a decent size.
The location was awesome and the the unit was very nice with the perfect layout for our family and we would stay there again. Rainbow Beach is a fabulous location.
