Plenty of room for all our family to spread out in various...
Plenty of room for all our family to spread out in various parts of the home. The home was well equiped in the kitchen, coffee machine, TV and streaming channels, games and activities, extra heaters and seating inside and out. Plenty of room for our 2 cars to park off the street. Short walk to jetty, coffeeshop, general store and cafe/restaurant. Russ and Michelle were great hosts, quick to respond to requests and queries. Rhyll is a beautiful peaceful back-to-nature location...
Rhyll is a beautiful peaceful back-to-nature location located only 5 minutes' drive from Cowes. There are many walking trails through the wetlands and forested areas. Small signs are dotted around Rhyll telling an interesting history of the area. There are new piers and boat ramps for small boats and fishing. There is much to see and do on Phillip Island for all the family. Ryhll still has that quiet seaside village feel to it..just lovely. If you to fill in your day there is plenty to do. We had lunch at the brewery, checked out the wine at the Purple Hen and Phillip Island wineries, took the grandkids to the Koala Conservation Centre. Dinner at the Ryhll fish and chip shop was a highlight. Order your dinner, sit and eat it and enjoy an alcoholic beverage whilst you are there.
