Offering a garden and garden view, The Castle is located in Robertson, 26 km from Shellharbour City Stadium and 26 km from Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Museum.

The Castle is a great central location in the Southern Highlands, convenient to Bowral and Moss Vale. The house itself is magnificent and one of the primary reasons we chose here to stay. There is great attention to detail and a raft of period furniture and collectables on display inside. The owners Graeme and Ken make sure that you are immediately welcomed and put on a great breakfast. A very enjoyable stay overall.

A magnificent building with so much history, beautifully set out indoors. The gardens were a little untidy but overall a wonderful experience.

Great location, kitchen was very well-equipped. Bedrooms were spacious, and having 2 living areas was useful for our group.

Berida Hotel is set amongst established gardens just moments from the main street of Bowral.

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous restaurant. Bathroom had seen better days and the room we had was quite noisy.

Nice staff and service, however not a hotel to stay with kids and family. Dated carpet with dust, photos with nudity on the walls in all rooms, bathrooms were ok. The breakfast was nice and staff were very courteous.

I've lived in Sydney for 30 years and never stayed in the Robertson/Mittagong/Moss Vale area. It is almost as picturesque as the Blue Mountains and we found the quality of properties, shops, eateries and attractions as good, if not better than the Blue Mountains. In particular, the food was excellent in the Robertson Thai restaurant and the Public House. The roads are mostly in great condition and the taffic is light - the roads are very enjoyable to drive with many views and sweeping bends.

    The staff are very friendly.

The staff are very friendly. When booking the accommodation, you have to realise it is very old. I thought they would have maintained it and rooms would have some mod cons. We stayed in a queen room with shared bathroom and the room didn't have air conditioning or fans. Just heating. Kept the window open all night. Had fireplaces downstairs near the bar and sitting room. Shops only a kilometre away. The grounds were nice. We sat in the car at the back of the building near the pool overlooking the escarpment. Tea making facilities on each level. No lifts, just stairs. We were on level 2. The gutters were dripping through the night (we had our window open-otherwise very musty in the room). The room had a sink in the corner, a hanging rack and a chair. No luggage suitcase rack - so lot of bending down to get items out of the suitcase. Bathroom very old but clean - hasn't been maintained. A bit smelly - need lots of air freshners. Morning was cold. Unfortunately this is not our kind of accommodation so we won't be staying here again.

The place is old but unique.

The place is old but unique. The high ceilings, the open fireplaces, the deep lounges, the books on the shelves, the drinks on the lawn. The nearby town of Roberston is small but distinctive, with a foodie/antique/art vibe.

Robertson is an excellent place to visit, especially for its food options -- Moonacres cafe, Pecaro cheese and wine bar and Mumma's Country Kitchen. We also went to Grace Native Nursery and bought some plants from the friendly owner.

Cooler country so a warm comfy room.

Cooler country so a warm comfy room. Liked the 70's-style motel that reminded me of growing up as a kid in that era. Basic amenities yet all that one needs. Had good shampoo and conditioner. Comfortable bed and luggage stand. I've paid twice as much and not got those two things. Easy key access and contact via messages if needed. Bowling club next door and Thai restaurant out the front. Some paper plates would be useful. And bit more character around 70 's would make this motel more tempting.

We have gone there since the 1970 for afternoon teas. Then drinks and dinner more recently. We stayed over night for my 70th and the rooms were so so expensive for what u got. Very ordinary. bed was very comfortable. Hotel is very grand and lovely so that made up for it. Staff very lovely. Would never stay overnight again. Food for Christmas in July was very average. But we had a fabulous time. So recommend drinks and day time food.

Beautiful home from home for a country escape. The converted church studio had everything you could want, super comfortable bed linen, art and inspiring interiors. We enjoyed our time in the property as much as out of it. The location was perfect for Robertson and excellent pizzas were available across the road if you wanted to stay in. The country with creature comforts.
