The outside of the property looks very run down but inside the rooms have all been renovated and are modern and pleasantly furnished, the bed was very comfortable and the towels and bed linens were bright white and spotless! The bathroom was lovely, well-stocked, and spacious and the shower had great water pressure. Perfect for our short stay to visit friends.

Location was decent (close enough to get to St Kilda and far enough away not to be disturbed by the patrons of St Kilda!!). Room was pretty cool, close enough to how it appeared online. Bed was comfortable (I think, perhaps I was well enough liquored up to sleep anywhere!!). You know, it was good enough - I booked it because it looked super cool and fancy and it didn't quite meet the expectations the pictures presented. That's not to say anything was wrong with it and perhaps I had too high a set of hopes - I like to be wowed when I walk in the door of a $ 300-a-night hotel. The amenities were good - I used the fridge; it worked!!! I used the shower, I got wet for a while then got out.
