Lovely clean room with everything I needed. Beautiful, quiet location. Great gardens and lovely pool area (I was travelling for work so didn't have time to enjoy the pool this time). The lady at reception was lovely and late check-in was easy to arrange with a phone call.

I stayed two nights, and only needed to sleep there so it was fine. I think you get what you pay for, the carpet was ripped in places and due to be replaced, and the room needed painting, and the curtains wouldn't close. But the bed was clean and comfortable. The pictures on the internet were obviously decorated for the photographs as none of the additional bits that make it homely were included (cushions, lamps etc).

    Give the services club a go .

    Give the services club a go . Only stayed 1 night and was looking for somewhere to eat . Did not know what to expect when we went inside as it was very small and not many people were in there. To my surprise meals were just what we wanted . Nice and simple a day cheap. I had fish and chips and the wife had chicken snitzel. Only pub meals but very nice . Would recommend giving them a go. Staff were also very nice

    Tamworth is a fantastic destination for a relaxing getaway. The town offers a charming atmosphere with plenty of shopping options, diverse restaurants, pubs, interesting places to visit as the Astronomy & Science, the Golden Guitar Museum, The Regional Park. Tamworth has something for everyone

    WE very much enjoyed a big day at Ag quip. So much to see for the farmer on any level. People are very friendly and helpful. Lots of quality shops to browse through. Tamworth needs a few days to enjoy all it has to offer

    There’s so much to do in Tamworth!

    There’s so much to do in Tamworth! Beautiful cafes, lovely shops, and gorgeous facilities for the kids (Tamworth Regional Playground is INCREDIBLE and next to a delicious indoor/outdoor restaurant- Hopscotch). The theatre is cute and has a good selection of movies/shows. Tamworth is so much more than just the Golden Guitar! Papa Luigi’s Restaurant is a MUST do, absolutely divine. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you HAVE to hit up the Spilt Milk ice cream shop. They have the best flavours, and you can top off your cold treat with a drizzle from the Nutella fountain!

    Tamworth is a small city with tens of thousands people.

    Tamworth is a small city with tens of thousands people. There are almost supermarkets and shops as a large city has. The city contains all entertainment functions, a nice cinema, arts galleys, and country style of activities, including annual International Country Music Festival and horse ricing. But the living costs are lower and more green space. The train goes to Sydney and vice versa daily. A airport for public to flight nationwide.

    Our cabin was neat and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The park has great facilities - fabulous pool, communal eating/BBQ areas and is conveniently located close to a shopping centre with Supermarket etc. The staff were very helpful and communicated well. We would definitely stay there again if in Tamworth.

    The location of the hotel is the first one on the left as you are arriving in Tamworth from Sydney/Newcastle. The staff were friendly and as I arrived after hours, they were kind enough to place milk in the fridge and put the aircon on for me.
