The owner/manager contacted me to confirm check in details and rang again to ensure that it went smoothly. The accommodation was renovated to a high standard and was clean and appealing. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Toodyay Manor and would recommend it to others.

This farm stay provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. Outdoor seating is also available at The Dairy - 2 Story Rustic style accommodation with Mod Cons.

If you’re looking to step back in time and be close to nature, you would have an amazing experience staying at The Dairy! This barn-turned-cottage has the perfect authentic rustic feel to it, surrounded by a beautiful field, overlooking the hills and close to the Avon river. Every now and then, you could even hear the train passed by, adding to the perfect olden day atmosphere. The Dairy truly gave a comforting space to stay at, even during some of the hottest days of the year, and I’m already looking forward to come back in the future.

We had a great experience. Beautiful wedding in the countryside with Toodyay as our stop over. The Manor was amazing. Large old rooms, with all the classic charm and features but blended with modern fittings. I sent pictures to everyone! Would highly recommend.

Great little country town within the rolling hills, with a range of cafes, museums and pubs. Sitting on the bridge over the railway line watching the birds and waiting for the train was fun. Lots to photograph.

A well-presented town with lots of built interest and ideal for shorter walks in the area around. Excellent museum at Connor's Mill - but beware the stairs if you have mobility issues. Farmers market every third Sunday of the month, except January and February - when it can get a bit hot. Moondyne Joe Festival first Sunday in May - https://moondynefestival.com.au/ Great train trip up from Perth on the MerredinLink (but only three days a week) through much better scenery than the road trip - unexpectedly rugged country. Return trip can be done either on the ML or the Prospector (from Kalgoorlie), which is daily.

Toodyay is a very picturesque town with plenty of history. Two fuel stations =, an excellent IGA store and the famous Christmas 360 shop. Women love the shops here BOUTIQUES abound. Beautiful scenery from all aspects when walking around. Award winning bakery is a drawcard for many visitors. The well known COLA Cafe is another drawcard and a favorite of local townsfolk. Two pubs very different in character but both offer good food and a variety of beers. A visit to Toodyay will not disappoint. An excellent base for touring the Avon Valley Region.

If you like history, Toodyay is a must do, watch out for the moondyne event in may, you get to see and be apart of the town history event. The local community sells local produce, some stores close over the Xmas period so limited eating options. The locals are always friendly and helpful, if you don't enjoy your visit here I would be surprised. You can park and walk to most historic buildings, parks etc, though you can walk to the lookout, it's a bit of a climb.
