We booked a King sized room with twin beds. They gave us a room with a king sized bed. We had to ask to be moved. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The cold water tap came off in the shower. Wifi worked well. Staff were helpful.

I travelled by train and stayed overnight to attend an arts event. The location is good - a comfortable 15 minute walk from the station, and another 15 minute walk from the Performing Arts Centre. My room had all the usual facilities, nothing fancy, but clean, well kept, and comfortable. My room was pretty quiet considering the location on a major highway. Recommended.

The Black Bull Motel has been recently renovated. The Motel is only a 5-minute walk from the Traralgon CBD. We now have a EV charger for the convenience of our guests to re-charge their vehicles.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the value for money at City Gardens Motel. We were expecting far less. While dated, which we expected, our room was very clean and comfortable, and more spacious than many budget motels we stay at while on the road. The little things were all thought of, although on the highway it was surprisingly quiet, parking was easy and all the staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

This motel is located pretty much in the center of town, within walking distance of all the shops. Great to be able to park and wander. They also offer a Continental Breakfast (additional charge), which is something a lot of motels do NOT do these days.
