upstairs recently efurbished. communal kitcken was adequate. TV in loungs ( none in rooms) has poor reception. All new carpet made it cosy. Noise a problem from downstairs. However, would come again for a break away in this quaint country toen.

The food from the hotel was delicious and the room service was fast. The room smelled funny when we arrived. but the strong aircon blew the smell out. overall would recomend.

Honestly the photos don’t do the place justice, it’s more than worth the money. The facilities, atmosphere and cleanliness could not have been better. Property owner was awesome and left us to ourselves.

Tyalgum is a lovely spot for a weekend getaway in the country. The food and atmosphere at Flutterbies Cottage Cafe was excellent. There is a great yoga class in the Community Hall on Saturday morning so this was a nice way to start the weekend. There was also a great masseur next to the General Store. It was easy to explore on foot.

Much nicer and well kept town buildings, shops & cafes, streetscape and heritage than we expected. Even housing, except one, was neat and looked after.
Poor road access to Tyalgum. Tweed Shire need to get on with fixing it!

Good location and good room. Noise was a big issue.
Good location and good room. Noise was a big issue. Our family room adjoined the common area where there was a loud group drinking until after 11pm on the Friday night. The room was also above the bar, which was playing loud music until after 10pm on the Saturday night.

I loved Tylagum - felt immediately at home with the people I met. Celestial Dew is gorgeous - a beautiful old house with lots of wood, historical features but everything works perfectly - taps, switches etc. The sauna and outdoor spa are fantastic. Cafe next door has excellent food. Not open for dinner though. We had dinner at the pub down the road one night - very nice and good service. This is a lovely town with connected, creative people. If you're looking for a swanky place with everything at your fingertips this is not it. If you are seeking to explore a unique little town full of lovely people and want to reconnect with yourself and nature, this is it.

I know the hotel so know how to effectively communicate with the staff (who are brilliant) and what to expect. It was record high humidity and high summer tempetratures so quite uncomfortable in most rooms but on request I was relocated to one with a better facing window and given an extra fan. Not a place to stay without aircon in hot tempreatures although I know the hotel is looking at intsallation.
The cottage was situated on a lovely property in Tyalgum. It was very quiet and the energy was lovely. The cottage was tidy with a big bed in the main room. Lots of nice air flow and shower was great. Great for relaxing and recharging the body.
Very tastefully decorated and a hint of luxury after a bike ride too Tyalgum. Easy access to food right next door at Flutterbies. Also enjoyed a drink at pub on arrival. Very friendly town and the accomodation was charming.
