Wagga Wagga was a good stopping off place between Adelaide and Jervis Bay. We drove the long drive the first day and then a nice short drive the second. Much better than Hay for accommodation and facilities.

Well we are not young but elderly so our activities were rather main stream. Lots of touring around nearby towns and exploring around Wagga Wagga. A nice city,
Cross country and down hill skying are not available in Wagga Wagga and Incan ruins are a bit too far.
National art glass exhibition was well worth a visit.

We were in Wagga for a family reunion.
We were in Wagga for a family reunion. It is a lovely town and we enjoyed spending Sunday morning in the Botanic Gardens. The miniature railway ride is great fun and the volunteers are wonderful. The zoo is free and beautifully designed. The children had such fun and were able to hold a snake and pat a dingo. The bird enclosure is amazing. Grat shops to explore in town too.

We have stayed in many kinds of accommodation all over Australia and this rates among the best for cleanliness , comfort and value. The Executive suite was large and the separate shower area larger than in many hotels. Very big , soft towels were an added bonus. The bed was comfortable which is always needed after a very long road trip.
We used our room code to go through to the cafe and restaurant area which was useful.
We would stay there again.
the hotel has Tuesday night black board menu Sirloin steaks for $7.
very tender meat with big serve of mash potatoes and gravy.
hotel reception Cory is vey helpful and friendly.
if you like to stay overnight in a budget hotel with delicious meal Romano is the one.
We enjoyed our stay so much at the International Hotel, Wagga Wagga we stayed there again on our way home. Close to busy road and train track but we didn’t hear a thing with the thick windows. We appreciated a King bed and the huge carpark was great.
The front end check in experience was fantastic - the staff friendly, efficient and answered all my questions. The location in the town centre perfectly set my needs (ie walking everywhere) and the facilities are great.
