Location great, but front staff was not helpful, did not know if room had walk in shower or bath? Door did not lock, with or without card, had it fixed once then happened again! I know things happen! The room was nice overall, the older gentleman was doing his best to accommodate us

Featuring a range of suites with free WiFi, Lanterns Retreats is located in the heart of old Dunsborough, within 10' minutes walk of beautiful beaches, coastal walks, cafes and galleries.

Beautiful place to stay, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, lovely classic European style furnishings. Convenient location. We had some difficulty accessing, partly because it was a last-minute booking, but also because the main phone number listed didn’t answer, and the manager number provided on the door is incorrect & goes to a man in Melbourne who has no association with the property. Once that was sorted out we had no further problem.

Quiet beauty, felt safe, vineyards, sea views and beaches, good food, nearby towns for all needs. Rental car likely essential to visit this area. Roads are good. Would love to visit this area again with more time.

    Loved the scenery.

Loved the scenery. Everything closed by 5pm so you need to make sure you’re eating/drinking/shopping early. We enjoyed Eagle Bay Brewery. Swings & roundabouts had a great wine selection/tasting. We arrived too late to enjoy the Sunday session & the vegan pizza was disappointing.

Always love spending a few days at Yallingup.

Always love spending a few days at Yallingup. The beaches are fantastic, fishing, snorkeling or diving, take your pick. National Park, go for a walk, try the Farm, artist galleries, it's something for everyone. Recommend the pastry shop and the general store, local/fresh produce.

Yallingup is so central to all the beautiful beaches and towns. Additionally there are so many Vineyards to explore. This would have to be the best place to set up camp and travel to the rest of the southern towns.

Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit.

Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit. Nice to be able to go to Caves House, or drive down to Dunsborough for more eating/food options, and a fine location to base yourself if wanting to go to some of the local wineries. We also tried the Goanna Bush Cafe which was about a 10 minute drive. Lovely food and service. Recommended.

Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City.

Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City. Lots of greenery, lots of birds and lots of fresh beautiful air. The beach is a stroll from the apartments. The balcony was just amazing. Yallingup is a short car ride away from fantastic scenery, eateries and activities. Yallingup is a gem hidden away from most huslte and bustle. A MUST stay holiday destination. There is nothing to avoid, it is all fantastic. Dunsborough is a short drive away, with every eatery that you could want. Lots of Caves and so many different ocean drives from Yallingup, 10 minute to 20 minutes by car. Yallingup Beach is a stroll away.

The venue was superb for the purpose of family of 6 adults with doggos to stay to attend a family wedding in the area. It was spacious in the living areas with a lot of seating inside and out, so we never felt overcrowded. Quality fencing to the outside area made it worry free to let the dogs roam in that area while we cooked meals on the large barbecue. Peaceful and pleasant location with plenty of dine out options without having to travel back into Yallingup.

It's a lovely location, not far from either Smith's Beach or Yallingup Beach, and while only a few minutes from Dunsborough, feels pleasantly rural. Good size for a couple.
