It's well appointed small cottage in walking distance to centre of Yarra Glen and many attractions of the Yarra valley. Owner was really good to deal with.
Located on a private thoroughbred farm with a garden and lake, Holly Lane Mews offers B&B accommodations in the heart of the Yarra Valley. There are at least 10 wineries within a 5-minute drive.

Yarra Glen is a wonderful location about an hour drive from Melbourne.
Huge variety of vineyards, most with restaurants and some with accommodation. I would recommend many upscale vineyards which you need to book for lunch eg: Sombah, Chateau Domain Chandon, Yarrawood, Balgownie to mention which we did and would thoroughly recommend. Also visited Rochford which we also enjoyed.
The area is easy to get around.
We stayed at Chateau Yerring which is old world comfort but sadly in need of some TLC. Eleanor restaurant was good but overpriced for what we got. Some staff were exceptionally friendly but others especially reception were either absent or appeared not to care. I had to go to reception to ask for water and toilet paper - both of which should have been attended to by house keeping. Hotel is old and needs to be bought up to 20th century ie; tiny television, no USB ports, WiFi reception very poor. This plus total non cleaning of veranda
( cobwebs, dirt, bird droppings) etc. It just need attention almost everywhere.

Beautiful wineries with amazing restaurants.
Beautiful wineries with amazing restaurants. Good selection of things to do. We visited Zonzo’s and TarraWarra Estate and had lunch at each winery. We only stayed for 2 nights I would like to explore more of the area.

The choice of local wineries is amazing, there are plenty of dining options.
Recommend Yering Station for wine tasing and lunch. The Chocolateria and Ice Creamery is busy but a great location for an ice cream in the open spaces surrounding it. The Yarra Valley Dairy is also great for a cheese plater or milk shake.
Alowyn Gardens are beautiful, and you can picnic there or dine in the cafe on site.
Lastly is you drive 40 minutes into the hills, Toolangi State forest has some wonderful bush walks, in particular the Wirrawilla Rainforest trail is an easy stroll on a boardwalk along the side of creek surrounded by tree ferns.

Great location, 10 mins to town and next to Zonzo winery where we had a wedding to attend, the dressing room was great to get ready in, very comfortable with all we needed in the kitchen to make some breakfast. Spacious cottage and the wood fire was lovely. Host were very helpful and friendly.
Loved the welcoming vibe of the hotel. Staff are more than happy to meet your needs and definitely add to the overall experience. Beautiful gardens and nice spaces to sit for a drink, the front balcony at sunset is a fab spot for sundowners.
Location is walkable to cafes and hotel for dinner. Breakfast was ok. Lots of tea, coffee and biscuits milk and two cereal packets. Off street parking and set back from the road so not so noisy. A very good fire 🔥
We stayed in the Manager's House attached to the hotel. Fantastic 60's style house with 4 bedrooms, cooking facilities, lounge, pool etc. We ordered food from hotel which they delivered. Great staff.
