That my grandchildren live in Yeppoon :) So it was a wonderful position for us to meet at each others houses and walk to the beach. The town is full of great coffee shops and places to eat. Yeppoon is a relaxing place to visit for a long weekend. There are enough shops, eateries, cafes, restaurants to make it a pleasant stay without being over the top. Nice little village atmosphere with plenty of restaurants and eating places. The water front had plenty to offer for younger children in the Keppel Krakken water park. The Rocks public pool area was outstanding!! Plenty of local shopping choices.
