A lovely apartment, it was obviously once a shop/office but not a problem at all.
Everything we needed was supplied including a couple of bottles of Orval ready in the fridge 🍻
It was very easy to find and spacious, warm and lovely & clean.
Really convenient a very short walk to the centre of town with everything you need.
Patrick, our host, popped by to say hello & I had his phone number in case of any issues.
If you’re going to Abbaye d’Orval there is a bus at 12.30 just around the corner.
There are no taxis in town at all!
We arrived by train & Florenville station is over 2k away from the town itself so we walked - up hill there but downhill on the way back. Apparently there is a bus but we never saw it.
They’re revamping the main square which looks like it’ll be fantastic once done.
A lovely little town and fantastic Abbaye to visit.
Small town/village. Only early September but all the bars and eating places were closed. Village shop only open restricted hours. However, very pretty area, lots of walking available and Florenville was the nearest bigger town and had supermarkets and eateries
