Set in Jabbeke, ibis budget Brugge Jabbeke is conveniently located between the historical centrum of Bruges and the Belgium coast. Both are a 20-minute drive from the property.

We liked how spacious the room was! It was clean and provided a decent overnight stay. The location was in a residential area which made it feel safe. We chose to stay at this hotel after our day out in Brugge and checked out to head to Gent for our 2 day weekend getaway from the Netherlands. The pillows could have been more firm, and we wished there was at least a shower curtain in the bathroom.

Chaletje tis-ier-goed is a recently renovated campground in Jabbeke, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Boudewijn Seapark.

I so badly wanted to love this place and make it our go-to stay every year on our trip to Belgium, but sadly, it did not live up to our expectations. At first glance, it seemed like the perfect little oasis—a fully enclosed garden for the dogs, a lake in front, a large pond to the side, and a roaring fire in the wood-burning stove to welcome us. However, by the time we arrived, there was already a sour taste in our mouths. The owner had messaged us beforehand to say that if we wanted bedding and towels, it would be an additional €40. There were only two of us staying for one night—so essentially, one bed’s worth of bedding cost €40. While we did receive two towels, they were hand towels, which weren’t exactly ideal for two adults. This fee was eventually waived, but only after another issue arose: the bathroom door handle broke, locking us out of the only toilet. We had to call the owner, who sent someone from the holiday park to remove the handle and instruct us not to close the door. That might be fine for a couple, but as two friends traveling together, we weren’t exactly comfortable using the bathroom or showering without privacy. Speaking of the shower, when we arrived, the owner casually mentioned, “This might be the one with a broken shower—we’re getting a new one on Monday.” That evening, I turned on the shower, and at first, all seemed fine. I got in, soaked my hair, and then—the water completely stopped flowing from the showerhead. Where did the water go? Who knows—but it wasn’t into the shower cubicle. So, I had to dry off with the tiny hand towels, which, as a woman with long hair, was far from ideal. After that ordeal, I put on my pajamas and wandered into the freezing bedroom. There was no heating, so I lit another fire to try to warm up. While flipping through the laminated information booklet about the property, I read that the shower was already known to be broken.

Featuring free WiFi, Tannine et Cuisine offers accommodation in Jabbeke. Public Observatory Cozmix Beisbroek is 5 km away. Free private parking is available on site.

We loved the size of the house, perfect for our group of 6 people. The house is cosy, extremely spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a lovely night sleep all 3 nights that we stayed there. We especially loved finding the toy cars for kids which were such a bonus for us! All 3 kids ages 4, 8 and 12 spent hours playing with them.

Good place to stay for the locale.

Good place to stay for the locale. I was heading up to the coast near Ostend, also to Newport & Coxyde. So ideal. Also went to Oudenburg. Jabekke is a small town. Not too much going on. Basic facilities but as I had a car this was not a problem.

It was ok for what we paid and I thought location to Brugge was good. The local shops in town closed fairly early so this limited us. Overall room was fine and bed was too comfy and I would have asked fro a better room view but there is an option to pay a little more fro a better view. The staff were helpful and friendly overall I would stay again

The cottage was perfect for us and the dog, with a comfortable lounge and dining area, the large glass doors at the rear flooded this area with light. Well equipped and tidy kitchen area, the bedrooms were light and airy, with fly screens and blinds and comfortable beds. The village ahs a lovely bakery which is within walking distance of the cottage and a secure playing field to run around in. We had a fabulous day out in Bruges which was a short distance away visiting the market and main town areas. The day we had a Nieuwpoort was very bracing and we visited the military cemetery and memorials. Tijl was very helpful and must congratulate him on the sustainable measures he takes for this business.

Filip and Annelies went out of their way to ensure that my expectant wife and I were comfortable after a rough time travelling and a long border crossing. Their property is lovely and absolutely spotless. After a lie in, we were met in the kitchen with a lovely homemade breakfast and great conversation.

Excellent location in Jabbeke, close to Brugge and Oostende. House is located near center of town, within walking distance. We have been coming to Jabbeke annually for 15+ years and have tried various locations before. Kastanjeboom has by far the best breakfast and the nicest hosts. Will definitely book there again next year. Highly recommended!
