This place is old fashioned and beautiful. It's in a rural and quiet location. Parking was easy. It was winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the garden, but for warmer seasons, this could be a lovely bonus - it's beautiful and well looked after. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Although we arrived late, the host was able to wait for us and even called to check all is ok. Bathroom was big, comfortable, everything worked well, there were good towels, nice lemongrass soap and shampoo, nice coffee and biscuits in the room, etc.
We were able to order breakfast last minute and it was available. They also were lovely in catering for our requests (vegetarian and kids only eating cereal) - it was considerate and lovely.

I came by bicycle and I was allowed to place it in the room. Friendly staff above all.
As a vegan, there are some options on the menu.
However, these beautiful ppl make sure that my belly is stuffed for the next ride.

Extension room not nearly as good as rooms in the main house. Bathroom did not have a proper door or window. Mattress was extremely soft. Beautiful environment and friendly host. Good breakfast.

The stay in the Boutique Hotel Shamon was wonderful. It is an excellent stop for excursions to Brugge, Gent and Antwerpen. The owner are very friendly and one feels that the hotel is very precious for them. The breakfast is excellent. Also the rooms are well equipped. We have enjoyed it very much!

The staff were incredible, they welcomed us and our two little dogs with such warmth. The food was excellent and so were all the little extras…like the snacks with the aperitivo. The hotel and restaurant are gorgeous and the attention to detail is impeccable
