Lovely quiet rural location, beautifully restored farm buildings, comfortable rooms, good showers. Especially liked having a fridge in the room. Would be a great place to stay on cycling holiday & ride alongside canal into Bruges.

This was an elegant old hotel with nicely updated rooms. Very calm, comfortable. The bed was great. Bus stop right outside the front gate which goes directly to Bruges. Owner made fresh eggs for us to order in the morning.

Windy and Tomas were wonderfully helpful hosts and simply lovely people to know. They’ve masterfully renovated the house now called Shamon, and created an inviting and quiet place. Shamon was well-situated to quickly get into and out of town for daily excursions.

The room was spotless and the bathroom had a full size tub to soak a weary body. There is a sitting area and a bar. The staff spoke broken English and we could communicate fine. The breakfast was splendid with eggs especially made for you.
