Wonderful weekend gateway exploring the amazing Belgium architecture and culture. This location has an amazing garden, with a nice wood inspired design. This area is great for bicycle trips, exploring the Belgium beer scene, and Ghent is just 15 minutes away. We would definitely go back to explore more sites and just a relaxing location to unwind from the fast city life.

Location is outside of the city centre but an easy albeit it a little bit long (40 minute) walk into the heart of the town. With that said, it’s a nice walk to see the peripheral parts of the town. Getting entry was a little bit difficult. We had to phone them which if we didn’t have my friend who had a Dutch phone number would have seen us being locked out for the night… Thankfully in the second call back they answered and sent us a code (they did not reply right away to my messages over the app which was slightly stressful). The check in time says anytime between 15:00-23:00 and we assumed someone would answer the door or there would be a reception but you can’t get in without them sending you the code prior. With all of that said, we could have messages to give them a precise time of our arrival but in the end it all worked out and the rooms were very comfortable and nice
