I had a room in the hotel's recently upgraded Guesthouse. Breakfasts were in their popup restaurant whilst the main hotel and restaurant is being upgraded. The food was excellent, and the room (No 8) was excellent too. All of the hotel's facilities are either in, or just off, the main square, making access to Talbot House, the Hop Museum, etc, all within very easy walking distance. The Hotel de la Paix is a family run business, and the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. My group has stayed with them many times in the past, and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

Hotel Palace is situated only 180 metres from the Grote Markt in the centre of Poperinge, 11 km east of Ieper.

Location is ideal for basing in Poperinge, with good on street parking, walking distance to square where there are plenty of options for cafes, restuarants & bars. Hotel was exceptional for a 2*, staff were excellent, very friendly & welcoming. Rooms were excellent lovely & clean, plenty of towels, hotwater & the beds were so comfortable. Rooms were so quiet didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was your typical continental but great choice of food. Would highly recommend 'The Hotel Palace', met some lovely people also staying the hotel.
