Lovely old world charm. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean! Excellent shower with great water pressure. Convenient to all tourist areas, but a block on the other side of the canal in quiet neighborhood. 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants. Excellent Irish pub - almost attached - with great food and wide selection of Belgian and other beer.
This hotel blends an industrial history with elegant décor and modern facilities. Ghent River occupies several former factory buildings, less than half a mile from the Botermarkt.

Loved the restored building and the room with brick walls and high ceilings. Staff was helpful, especially Stefanie.

High quality hotel with good staff.
The house wine was a Grand Cru St Emilion, and was outstanding!
Good parking, altogether a nice place to stay after a long day in a 70 year old car!
geared to corporate / events / anniversaries, but looked after us very well.
It rounded off a 7 day 1500 mile driving holiday really well...and comfortably under two hours to the Tunnel.

Stunning building, beautiful surroundings, with the lovely Sint-Martens-Latem town, shops and nature walkable too. The building itself has a lot of history with art on the wall in the dining hall that was painted by an artist who lived there. Breakfast was available at the property. We had a contactless check-in with a door code which was fast and easy (although be warned, the phone reception is basically non-existent at the property).
The hotel was super, lovely room on the ground floor, spacious, spotless with good facilities including tea and coffee making facilities. Check-in was very straightforward. The person on Reception was very helpful, telling us where we could eat and that there was a festival in the area, which we attended - live music was great.
A lovely old house and garden, it was a super place to end out two-week trip.
The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful and extremely enchanting location. There is a garden with trees and a pond. It is close to a forest.
The room was clean and tidy, although the overall design could have been better (this is especially true of the leopard-coloured carpet on the floor).
The bathroom is nice, modern and tastefully done.
This is my favourite hotel for relaxing and getting a break. The beds are very comfortable and the location is quiet so you will sleep well. Also, the restaurant is so good. I can't wait to go back.
