One of the highlights of our trip was the Saada Boat Tour—a relaxing and enjoyable experience with beautiful views. We found plenty of great dining options across the malls, but the real culinary surprise was a hidden gem called Shawarma Mattar, offering authentic local flavor. Getting around the city was simple and hassle-free. An excellent city in the mixture of tradition and modernity. We traveled by car and would definitely recommend doing the same. Google Maps works well and reliably indicates traffic jams, which can take a while. It is definitely worth renting a bike and riding along the bike paths. Manama is a city now located within Greater Bahrain. It has its old charm. Bab Al Bahrain is a gateway to the traditional souq. It's like Alladin's cave. However cost of living is very high so it's not a cheap holiday. 1 pound buys you less than half a dinar ie. 0.45. Would recommend for a three day stay on route to another destination.
