Featuring a private beach area, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #1 offers accommodations in Georgetown.

This stay was excellent. All of the pictures acurately showed what it looked liked, it was located exactly where it was shown on the map (which is important given that there are no formal addresses), it was walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, a great lunch spot, and several very nice beaches. It was also great being right off of the main road.

Just a 2-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach and 1.1 miles from Turtle Beach, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #2 features accommodations in Exuma Harbour Estates with a private beach area.

Clean, newly refreshed/renovated and had all the necessities. The location is good as it is close to George Town as well as has a beach across the street and the turtle beach is just 1 km way. And as an extra bonus, it has the best family owned diner next door - you absolutely have to visit it :) also, quick response and great care provided to any questions or concerns raised by the owner. Thank you!

Facing the beachfront, St Francis Resort offers 3-star accommodations in Georgetown and has a private beach area, shared lounge and terrace.

St. Francis was exactly what we envisioned. Laid back, Bahama paced with all amenities required for an extremely lovely vacation. Instead of a hotel room we decided to book one of six stationary houseboats. While simple, the design included a living room area, kitchenette with a full refrigerator, bathroom with shower and a queenside bed. Along with an waterfront facing front “porch” the accommodation was more than adequate for two people. All meals were served at their “Snappy Turtle” hillside restaurant where the slower pace forced you relax. Take a breath and chill. We especially relished the grilled lobster, coconut shrimp and fish of the day complimented by fresh vegetables and Bahamian vegetable rice. However, the beautiful, dazzling blue waters were the reason we were drawn to Exuma. A boat was always available to take you to any of the many beaches. A weather permitting three hour boat tour allowed us to decide which of the many Stocking Island locations we could spend a day swimming, snorkeling or just enjoy relaxing with a drink on the soft sand. We were lucky enough during our tour to travel south to one of the many sandbanks where tide changes the landscape quickly. Our guides were knowledgeable and showed us starfish, sea fans and conch that could be covered by feet of water or exposed to the sun depending on the tide. All in all from the greeting on our arrival to the last day of our stay the staff were truly amazing and willing to do anything they could to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

A 17-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach in Georgetown, Da Sugar House offers accommodations with access to a hot tub. This property offers a private pool and free private parking.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Da Sugar House in Exuma, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like a home away from home, with its cozy charm and perfect location. The house itself is beautifully designed—tastefully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host, Steve. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from offering local tips on the best beaches to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The location of Da Sugar House is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to all the wonderful sights and activities Exuma has to offer. We especially loved spending time on the private porch, enjoying the breeze and the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful and memorable escape in Exuma, I can't recommend Da Sugar House and Steve enough!

With Jolly Hall Beach reachable in a 4-minute walk, Beautiful Villa just steps away from the beach!

It was conveniently located near Georgetown and near public beaches on the island. The resort and villa that we stayed in were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and having the restaurant and bar on property was perfect.

Offering sea views, Turtles Nest Bahamas in Hermitage provides accommodations, a garden, and a terrace.

Mark and Beatriz are fantastic and caring hosts. They prepared the breakfast for us twice, as we explored the island the other 2 days. Mark gave us exceptional tips on beaches, restaurants, snorkeling, drives, everything!! Really recommended, totally. Plus they have a sweet dog Sasha that made our vacation even more special.

Georgetown is not well maintained, and it was hard and slow to get a water taxi over to Coconut Club on Stocking Island. The liquor tried to charge me US$82 for a small bottle of Tequila - which was clearly not the real price

Had taxi stop at market and liquor store when we arrived for beer and sunscreen to take to St Francis Resort & Marina where we stayed on a houseboat with beautiful views! Staff was super accommodating and very nice! Sterling was amazing! Chef at Snappy Turtle restaurant prepared fantastic meals that did not disappoint. Kayaked to Chat N Chill and had so much fun! Locals are friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful location to unplug and explore. Highly recommend.

We have never seen a more beautiful place - on the ocean side of the road. The other side of the road showed a lot of neglect and trash, but the beauty opposite this was so incredible you are able to ignore the rest. Also, the locals are all so incredibly helpful and friendly! I never once felt fearful.

Beautiful beaches, but just realize this is more like a 3rd...

Beautiful beaches, but just realize this is more like a 3rd world country. Hard to get the luxuries you are used to. Groceries, food, and water are very expensive. We had a power outage on the 2nd day there and had to spend 12 hours without a/c or toilet. Very different from here. Things are not as accessible, grocery stores close at 6 pm and don't have a lot of items you are used to. The one road is narrow and full of potholes on the southern part of the island. Restaurants have sporadic days they are open so plan ahead for food. Bring lots of packaged food if you can and non-perishables like nuts, cereals, grains, kleenex (there is not any kleenex for sale), you don't need a lot of clothes as there are not venues to dress up for, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 t shirts and your bathing suits and rashguards are all you need. Georgetown is not a big area, maybe one half block of grocery, bank and low grade restaurants. This is more of a beach camping experience than a resort experience unless you stay on one of the few resorts.

Local feeling of the town, friendly people, nice places to sit, eat and drink. For shopping as well! Easy boat rentals, which I would highly recommend as there are plenty of places to boat around in the area.

What a beautiful island!! I recommend staying at the Exuma Hideaways very friendly staff and clean and well maintained. We had a amazing vacation so many beautiful beaches. Georgetown is a great place to escape for some relaxation. You also need to check out the Fish Fry to hang with the locals and dine at Shirley's for their delicious island dishes.

Loved everything about the hotel - location, staff, surroundings. It's a bit away from George Town, but you can either walk or take a taxi for 10$. And the delicious fish fry is jus 5 mins walk (try Shirley's!) It is very close to the beautiful Jolly Hall beach as well. Rooms are nice, clean and quite spacious, all with stunning view. Such a good value for money. I really recommend.

Peace and Plenty is a great place and the whole staff is super nice and helpful. The poolside is very cool and the taxiboat to their beach and beach club is very good. The rooms are big and clean, the beds are comfortable. Minimarket, restaurants, ATM, souvenir shops and more are in short walking distance. We will come back next time in Georgetown.
