My teen and I were there for 4 days, The apartment was spacious, laid out well and a nice place to be. The on site hostess was a pleasure, and the dogs are sweeties. It was a nice distance from down town to be walkable to most places.

We loved Sun Creek Lodge! This place is an absolute gem! It was beautiful and peaceful in a gorgeous jungle setting. We stayed in the Sunshine Cabana, which had an awesome outdoor shower and bathroom. The owners, Marisa and Thomas, are wonderful! It is clear that they love southern Belize and love sharing it with guests. Speaking with them was delightful, and the effort they put into the lodge is so apparent!
Breakfast each morning was delicious and a great value! Cecelia and Consi, the lovely ladies working magic in the kitchen, were so kind and also a joy to chat with!
There is a beautiful open air common air with an honor bar and beautiful views of the property.
I can't say enough good things about Sun Creek Lodge! It was our favorite stay in Belize!

Cathy, Adrian, Vince, Lilly were fabulous hosts.
Such wonderful, attentive and likeable people.
The area is somewhat remote and may not be for everyone but it is still the old Belize culture in this area.
Free use of kayaks on the river that surrounds the property.
The food was excellent as well.

Quiet little town. One of the best kept secrets of Belize.
Quiet little town. One of the best kept secrets of Belize. There is so much to do and see here without all the crowds of other places in Belize. From exploring caves, swimming in beautiful rivers, visiting local Mayan villages and touring chocolate making villages. Or, fly fishing, Caye exploring, hiking to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country or touring the Spice Farm. This was a remarkable trip.

PG is a quaint coastal town.
PG is a quaint coastal town. It has all 7 tribes of Belize represented in the town. There are nice restaurants on the water overlooking the Caribbean Sea. There are Mayan ruins close to the town to visit. A hikers paradise!

Not much is happening in Punta Gorda.
Not much is happening in Punta Gorda. There are a few restaurants, many bars on Front Street, and a large market down town. It seems that people from outlying towns come here to shop. We stopped as a way point from San Pedro, Belize, to Livingston, Guatemala. At this time, ferries between the two run only once a day, five days a week. We came on a Saturday, expecting to catch the Sunday ferry, but had to stay over until Monday.
