Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops (I had no transportation and walked everywhere). Staff was very helpful, courteous, and honest - I paid cash at check-in, and the next day they refunded it due payment made thru Booking.com. on my CC.

Laura and Joe have created a veritable paradise at Tilt-Ta-Dock. The location is sublime, the accommodations were delightful, and the welcoming spirit of both L & J made us feel like we were coming home. We highly recommend Tilt-Ta-Dock and will def be returning to stay with our new "friends".

Liked it a lot. Located at the end of a quiet road with a canal running along side and in back. Well kept grounds and interior. Great air conditioners and fans. Kitchen had everything one would need and then some. Drinking water provided. Secure parking. There is only 2 rental units so very little human traffic. Nice trees and great little private pool. Kind and helpful host/owner.

What a wonderful slice of heaven! Kinga, the proprietor, has put so much love and thought into creating this amazing space to make guests feel welcome. I learned so much about the local culture from her. Elio(sp?), her right-hand man, also offered excellent advice about the village and life in Belize. Kinga's a great cook, and I thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Lucky me, she took me to some super fun events in the village and environs.
The cabana was very comfortable and clean -- it was equipped with a ceiling fan, which I didn't use, as it was quite windy during my stay. If you decide to bring food from outside, there is a fridge in the room. The beachfront is steps away from the cabanas and opens out to a shallow bay. It's not a sandy beach, but one with a silty bottom, where you can easily snorkel and paddleboard with provided gear.
If you rent a car, it will give you flexibility, as public transportation is extremely limited, though taxi service to and from the village and Belizima is not expensive. I honestly didn't feel like wandering too far and was very happy to be a beach bum. Finally, I adored Kinga's four doggies, all of whom are delightful to be with -- what a joyful presence they are!
