We would definitely not recommend this hotel. Not only did they have no posts about the construction they didn't really even care to compromise with the customer when asked to be moved or placed away from it.There was jackhammering all day, cutting down trees.(starting at 8am and going til 5) We asked to be as far away from the jack hammering and they would not move us and said we wouldn't hear it from the 3rd floor but we did and it shook the hotel. (Even jack hammered on a Saturday) They also refused to put a hold on our debit card and demanded a credit card or we couldn't check in. (We do not have a credit card at all and would have lost all our money) They were unwilling to compromise. Just an all around horrible 5 day stay and will never ever go back there again. One last thing good luck finding parking anywhere it is always full and parties and conferences take priority over hotel customers.

The owner and family were great. Helped us fixing our wifi issue and we're so patient about it! They made sure we were comfortable and were very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay with them again

All the amenities you need nearby.
Easy access to some beautiful hiking (30-60 min. away). Also some nice places for walking right in town.
So much nicer flying into this small airport vs. Vancouver.

Abbotsford is a nice town and a great place to base yourself to explore the historic area.
We would highly recommend the quaint town of Langley, and the historic fur trading fort near the banks of the Fraser River.

Its an excellent place to stop over if you have a flight the next day. It is easy to get to Vancouver airport and take around 60 to 90 minutes skirting the US border.
The town itself is busy - lots of traffic and not what we found in the rest of our Rockies trip. Beyond the town looks lovely though with some really beautiful countryside around it.

There was nothing I liked about this place, it's a dump with homeless people and drug addict's hanging around. Grounds are a mess, rooms are a mess. Dirty disgusting place. Don't stay here

There were no bugs.
There were no bugs. But I did check the mattress and base boards (which were showing many years of wear and tear) for signs.
The room was too hot, but once I figured out how to turn on the ancient air-conditioner, it quickly became comfortable. The furnishings were serviceable but chipped and worn.

The trip was our first time in Abbotsford. We always drive past it going elsewhere for our past vacations. I heard about it in the series Aurora Teagarden mysteries. They were in Abbotsford shooting the movie. Over all was OK. The good thing is Walmart is behind the hotel for getting things- very convenient. I used to stay at a Super 8 when I was living in Alberta - back in the late 80's. If you want to see the condition if the room, my wife is a vlogger. You can see it in YouTube under Reality Vlog video #89.
I was taking a flight from Abbotsford and this B&B stood out for its closeness to the airport, value for money and the fabulous breakfast it was offering. I had a comfortable nights sleep, met a few interesting fellow travellers and ate a wonderful breakfast. It was truly spectacular and even some sandwiches for onward travel. I was even able to arrange my taxi through the owner. I highly recommended this property.
I wish I could find even one thing good about this hotel but there is NOTHING. It was horrible and I cannot understand how it operates as a Travelodge. I have stayed at other Travelodges and while they haven't been fancy they have been perfectly fine. This one was not !
