The shuttle was a great option. We called it, they took a bit longer then normal. The driver never helped anyone load their bags. They actually stood by with their hands in their pockets. ( poor display of professionalism) - elderly people on the shuttle. No one gave a tip- 6 cupules on the shuttle.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times, and never had an issue. I upgraded our room to get the free breakfast. At the time of checking in we were not given our breakfast vouchers, which was a new thing they must have implemented because before you would give your room number and they had it documented. When I went to the front desk to inquire about the vouchers the gentleman working the desk informed me that my room did not come with free breakfast. I showed him my reservation which clearly stated free breakfast he then told me that the booking app I used to book the reservation under was awful and he would never recommend using it because you never get what you pay for. After criticizing me for a good 5 minutes for using the app, he finally issued the vouchers. I returned to the dining room and showed the vouchers to the server and she stated that they were only good for the buffet not the menu. Every time we have stayed here and payed for the “free breakfast “ we were able to order off the menu. I was frustrated at this point since I paid a significant amount more to have breakfast included, to be spoken to Rudely, criticized for my choice in booking apps, and paying too much for a below average continental breakfast. Needless to say this was our last time staying in this establishment. Not worth your money.

This hotel is one block of the University of Calgary. The completely nonsmoking hotel offers an indoor pool with waterslide, free WiFi and a hot full continental breakfast.

Only good thing was that the second room we were moved into was nice, clean and bed was comfortable.

Western Culture East of the Rockies

Set on plains dominated by the Rockies, Calgary shot to international fame as first Canadian host of the Winter Olympics. The Olympic Park is still used for skiing and summer events, and also houses Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

Speed skating and ice hockey matches thrill crowds in the Olympic Oval, whereas NHL games kick off at the Saddledome, an arena on the Calgary Stampede grounds, site of a huge 10-day rodeo and Western festival. The neighbouring river meets the Bow River by Fort Calgary, a former Mountie outpost. The zoo is on one of the river’s islands, while Prince’s Island Park overlooks the downtown skyscrapers.

Calgary Tower offers far-reaching views, and Stephen Avenue at its feet is lined with restaurants and bars. 17 Avenue also offers good nightlife, while the Chinook Centre and Barclay Parade have a host of stores. The Core shopping centre includes Devonian Gardens, reportedly the world’s largest indoor gardens.

Other attractions include Telus Spark science centre, the eclectic Glenbow Museum and Heritage Park, where a paddle steamer and steam train transport you to Calgary of yesteryear.

Calgary Airport is near the city centre, and Booking.com offers luxury hotels with airport shuttles, cheap motels, and B&Bs with parking. If you’re lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights from your accommodation.

    Lunch in the Calgary Tower is a must with 360 degree breathtaking views around the whole city. I visited a farmers market, with plenty to see and sample there, and visited a few bars along the way before hitting a Casino. I visited as i was flying in and out of the airport, but a lovely city with surrounding extensive shopping malls for some retail therapy.

    I don’t understand how a city of Calgary what do people do...

    I don’t understand how a city of Calgary what do people do here for work? There’s a lot of restaurants a lot of food. The casino was amazing. The great Eagle Casino made us so much fun in. The Cattlebarn restaurant it was definitely a good hit for steak dinner very friendly stuff.

    Park Inn Radisson Hotel

    Park Inn Radisson Hotel Was insulating and never returned my $100.00 deposit. I do not recommend this Hotel. The staff was ridiculously horrible. The kitchen/ breakfast staff were delightful 😃Very Kind and kept food coming and the cleanliness was amazing.

    the streets are an exercise, bring comfortable shoes. but the walk at night downtown is a magical delight, the Calgary tower if you enjoy a view , and a thrill, and the food at any fine dinning experence. We would also sugest an extra bag in your suitcase the shopping is like few others I have seen.

    We were there for a 4 day dance festival so I cannot really...

    We were there for a 4 day dance festival so I cannot really speak to any of the sites of Calgary. Last time I visited downtown and it is nice and modern with lots to do. This time we were situated at the airport itself and well, it is an airport and there is not much to see and do around an airport. The Hotel Marriot is lovely though and we had most of our meals there at the end of the day. I would recommend it's restaurant Yakima.

    Calgary is a great city!

    Calgary is a great city! Clean, friendly with lots of things to do and see. Downtown is bustling with activities and has amazing shopping and restaurants. There are casinos, horse races, nightclubs, concerts, shows, special events and much more happening all the time. Plus, the city boasts an extensive cycle track and pathways you can ride your bike on or take a walk along the river. Close to the mountains so you easily make a day trip to Kananaskis, Canmore or Banff.

    The apartment was simply amazing. The views were stunning, it was very clean and new. Internet was very fast. We felt safe, the security guards at the entrance were always kind and the location was great, close to Stampede, easy to reach from the airport by train and a short walk to downtown Calgary. We would definitely stay there again if they change their policy about kids (we'll have one soon). Check-in situation was quite awkward but the host always responded extremely quickly which is always appreciated.

    The staff were professional and very helpful making our anniversary night special :) The bed was arranged with pedals that said I love you, and they accepted a delivery on my behalf (edible arrangement) and delivered it to the room while we were out for a dinner so to surprise my wife upon our return. So helpful and so kind! Great location on the south end of Calgary with only a quick 15 minute drive to the downtown core, where we dined at the Calgary Tower, Sky 360 😀

    Forget the airport hotels! I found an excellent bed and clean and comfortable living space and kitchen here in Beddington Heights. Yash responded very quick to my questions. Location is near the airport: take the bus direction Downtown, get off at the Safeway (follow google maps, public transport option) for only 3,60. A 5 minute walk from Safeways you find this cozy home in a nice residential area.
