CanadaFriendly service. We didn't get the breakfast that was included in our room fare which was unfortunate. By morning the staff seemed exhausted and we didn't want to bother him. But he was very kind and helpful when we arrived quite late. He also put us in a bigger room which was nice.
Good location. Clean. Good place to stay if you're looking for an affordable nights sleep before getting back on the road.

CanadaThe night I came in, the desk clerk was efficient and courteous and even offered to help me if I needed anything.
The room was spacious and clean and I was glad to have a grab bar in the tub. As well as the grab bar, the tub was a good level for me to get into( many motel tubs have too high a tub and as I have balance issues it can be hard)
When I returned my key in the morning I thanked them again and both wished me safe travels and welcomed me to visit again.

I had an amazing stay at the cottage.
I had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The complimentary boats and kayaks were a great addition, along with the playground and recreational facilities. There were plenty of barbecues available, and the hiking trails were absolutely beautiful. The restaurant offered great quality food, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Really enjoyed the food at the Hungry Hiker Cafe. Service was great. Did not enjoy the food at the Caboose restaurant although it looked nice from the outside. The service was slow and the breakfast potatoes were horrible. She did offer to cook some fresh potatoes but why not serve fresh in the first place. A refill of coffee costs $3 so 2 cups is $6. We enjoyed our stay in Clearwater. We loved going to see the waterfalls. We only got to see the 6 "main" falls. Take your time, as some are a bit of a hike, but nothing too strenuous. We enjoyed the Happy Hiker and the Hop 'n' Hog Restaurants. The Happy Hiker had great service and a very good diner menu. At the Hop 'N' Hog the portions are huge. Bring an appetite. Our meal was delicious. We were sorry to have missed a tour of Clearwater Lake. We arrived after the last tour was gone. We also rand out of time to do any rafting. We loved the area.
We loved the area. The drive through Wells Grey park to Clearwater lake was stunning and due to rain earlier in the week, the waterfalls were amazing. The information center was very helpful. The gateway to Wells Grey Park, Clearwater is a great base camp to explore the numerous waterfalls, river rafting adventures, fishing spots and hiking/biking in the surrounding area. The people have always been friendly and welcoming with my countless visits and the scenery spectacular. Helmcken Falls is a major highlight in Wells Grey Park. Check in at the visitor center to really get a grasp of everything this place has to offer! The main town has good amenities for food, groceries, gas and more. Waterfalls in nearby Regional Park ( I think there were 4 of them to see. All were beautiful on their own. Only one needed like 1-hour + hike, rest were closer to the road. Can be seen in half a day easily, before you need to continue driving East or West.Guest review byayratUnited States

From the outside it looked like a motel, but the room was completely new and had hotel quality. I assume that is the reason why it is upgraded from motel to hotel, now.
