I am so happy with my decision to book at the "Auberge under the trees". The property was spotless and so thoughtfully decorated and equipped. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious with quality bedding, ample closet and drawer space, a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, tv, cell chargers. The bathroom was clean and supplied with lotion, shower gel and shampoo.
The people were friendly, kind, informative and helpful right from the time of booking when they answered each of my questions in the same day or the very next morning up until the very end of our stay. The hallways were very clean and there was a plastic boot mat outside each room for the convenience of leaving your wet boots. While there was a basket with slippers at the door next to a chair for ease and convenience to remove your boots upon entry if you chose. The main lobby/living room area had lovely art of local area scenery with a piano and large leather couches by the fireplace. The breakfast area had several small tables in a very clean, well decorated and inviting space. They provide a perfect continental breakfast from 7-10 each morning with a variety of coffees and teas and hot chocolate. Bread, fresh gluten free banana bread, boiled eggss, oatmeal, yogourt with granola and several topping options, cheese, jams, peanut butter and apples. We enjoyed sitting in the room enjoying the view inside and out the window while we are our breakfast with the soft music playing in the background. It was a great playlist. We were invited to help ourselves to the teas or snacks left out on the counters during the rest of the day if we wanted something.
The outdoor area looks great to sit and enjoy by the firepit but we didn't get a chance during our stay to sit outside.

Exceptionally well equipped unit with clean kitchen/bathroom and beautiful views above a little river over the mountains. There is entry to a hiking trail 100m down the road. Deer, groundhog and partridges visited the chalet.
Gaspé was much more scenic than I thought it would be.
Gaspé was much more scenic than I thought it would be. There were many very large hills that were much steeper and dramatic than anticipated. The views were spectacular! In a very short trip we saw whales surfacing along the coast, several waterfalls cascading down rock cliffs along the highway, and countless picturesque villages and vistas. I would highly recommend driving along the Gaspé coast, but the interior drives are also very impressive. The drive from Quebec City to Gáspe is quite long (around 8 hours), so bear this in mind!

The Gaspe area is spectacular .
The Gaspe area is spectacular . Although it rained on our trip it didn't hinder our enjoyment .
Most of the folks we met and all service staff were bilingual and this was so nice as we don't speak French .
The restaurants are good ! Try the Cod it is delicious .
Be prepared to walk up and down some hills if you go exploring .
Gaspe is another of Canada's treasures

I liked that u had an nice view of the ocean and where the auberge is placed was perfect , and that u can cook ur own food and how its well organized when the reception is closed and they leave u the code to get in . The beds in the doarm was okay .
I showed up very early in the middle of a rainstorm and the staff let me leave my things there while I explored down town. Very nice, comfortable rooms. The Orlean express bus also leaves from the hotel and you can manage your booking there.
We are 2 couples travelling on motorcycles our room was beautiful, spacious so clean Everything was spotless .The room was very well priced would definitely recommend this hotel
