CanadaThe location was fantastic. An easy drive into town or beyond while exploring the Sunshine Coast. Lovely gardens surround the property, with an incredible view looking out at the Howe Sound. We enjoyed the spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the outdoor covered porch, the bedrooms and living room. Ashley and Alan went out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome.

CanadaThis is a long time favourite. Its lush courtyard with the pool is a calming oasis. The room had a stove top and sink so we could prepare meals. The new owners have put in a sophisticated coffee and hot beverage machine that dispenses delicious coffees and hot chocolate - a great way to start the day or pick you up during the day. Thank you!

Wonderful location with lots of activities happening in the town & surrounding area. Very friendly locals, great variety of shops & eateries. Good coffee at Beachcombers cafe. The most picturesque location! Very hilly if on foot. Probably difficult if no access to a car. Wonderful meal at The Pink House Bistro! Gibson has a nice water front with shops and restaurants. Restaurants either were not open or closed early such as 3pm. Some shops were not open either. We were there on a Monday, Tuesday and left Wednesday morning. It’s small so not a lot to do.Guest review byKellyCanada - Review score8.0

The Cedars Inn was very good value. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and felt safe, and the receptionist was very kind and gracious. The lighting in the room could be improved a bit, and there was temperature control available for guest adjustment if one chose. I spent time with relatives who took me on a tour of the docks in Gibsons and bays up along the coast. We ate at the Japanese restaurant next door. We were only there for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration with friends. Did minimal sightseeing in Gibsons, but some on the day of arrival. Lots to see and do if you have the time and inclination. Good eating places in both Lower and Upper Gibsons.Guest review byBobCanada

I have family who live nearby so I didn't spend a lot of time at the Caprice, but there are spacious decks, a hot tub, and a pool available for guests to enjoy. (It was April so the pool wasn't open yet.) They are doggie-friendly and very welcoming. The next time I am in Gibsons visiting family, I'd stay at the Caprice again.Guest review byLynda L LockCanada
