We came back here as a result of a previous positive experience. Not this time. Part of a towel rail fell off, there is a series of holes in the wall where the toilet roll holder should be, the shower tray didn’t drain necessitating a very quick shower. The toilet was blocked and the bathroom floor flooded. There were dead flies in the room and bath towel had a big hole in it. They moved us to a next door unit and before we agreed to that we tested the toilet - that too was blocked. A 3rd move and the room was OK. The bed was comfy and everything worked but there were no spoons or stir sticks for the coffee. They are trying hard to renovate all these units but clearly the older parts should not be let out until the rooms are finished properly. Inspecting the rooms before being OK’d for use is clearly not working.
