I recently took a short trip to Moncton, and it was a delightful getaway! The city has a charming blend of nature and urban life, with highlights like Magnetic Hill and Centennial Park offering great spots to explore. Though it's a smaller city, Moncton has a friendly, laid-back vibe with plenty of good dining options and beautiful scenic drives. Trip was two week tour of Maritimes … spent 3 days at start and 2days at end of trip … excellent base for Hopewell Rocks / Fundy National Park … Sackville / Shediac … and so much more City itself is so friendly … folks are always helpful Moncton airport is a dream … so easy as access point … My trip included St Andrews / Ministers Island (must see) / Pictou / Lunenburg / Titanic Gravesites in Halifax / cape Breton Highlands (Skyline & Franey Trails, Mica Hill (saw a moose !) and then PEI … Summerside overnight … herons in the bay at dusk and dawn … Would be happy to return again and use as stepping off to explore northern NB … feels like home … like Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland … only the sun is bigger … 😁Guest review byTim - Review score6.0
In addition to what I already wrote, I would not go back.
In addition to what I already wrote, I would not go back. The back-door basement stay was not as expected and made me uncomfortable. Also, in the owners likely effort to conceal the situation, finding and getting into the apartment became difficult/confusing as walking back to rear basement door was not anticipated. Moncton is always welcoming.
Moncton is always welcoming. Its clean and you can feel a great energy there. Everyone seems friendly and we love visiting. Typically we onky go for day trips but staying overnight is a special treat. Love the area! It's so easy to navigate and great shopping! We also enjoy eating there when we go. We like to try different places each time but sports rock is on3 of our favorite pubs!Guest review byAnonymous - Review score2.0

We did not visit very much as we spent some time visiting family. We ate at the Keg, beautiful restaurant, very good food and service. Except for where there was road construction, Moncton is fairly easy to get around.Guest review byJeanCanada

Leisure pool temperature is not suitable for infants. My son was shivering. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially the lady at the breakfast room. I forgot to ask her name, I think she is the in-charge of the morning breakfast. She is the only one approched us nicely and ask us how are we. Our room is the nicest we have ever stayed before.
