Situated in Orillia, 12 km from Casino Rama, Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

I think location is perfect as it was close to shopping, dining and not to far to travel to the Casino. Breakfast was great. Loved the room size and sleeping was comfortable. Next time we will try the pool and hottub. We were not prepared for that.

The Captains Lake House is a recently renovated holiday home in Orillia, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

Everything here is great, and the landlord is very kind to help us prepare everything we may need! There is also an indoor balcony with a very good view and beautiful scenery. The landlord is also very friendly and easy to communicate with! In short, my friends and I like everything there very much!

Situated only minutes from Orillia's Casino Rama, and surrounded by a variety of recreational activities, this hotel features spacious accommodations, complete with a number of thoughtful amenities.

Didn’t have breakfast, room was comfortable my one major complaint no TV and what stations that were available kept fading in and out. When ask of the staff about the problem the said it was a tower issue due to the ice storm. This issue would have been nice to know at check-in again no mention of it. Did not ask for a discount due to this issue but I feel one should have been coming the TV is part of the billing.

The downtown main street is very nice for strolling and shopping. The Mariposa market is real treat, any kind of food item you could imagine and amazing desserts. We were there in February, be aware that many stores are closed on Mondays that time of year (Mariposa is open). Despite the huge amounts of snow the town does clear the walking path down by the water, that made a huge difference. Orillia has a beautiful waterfront, exceptional in the summer and a nice stroll in the winter. The Breakfast Club on Mississaga Street has great food and warm atmosphere.

A beautiful beach and dock area of the town has been under construction for 5 years now, ruining any trip. Its not nearly as enjoyable as it should be. Even the Champlain monument has been removed by snowflakes.

What we loved most was the 30 000 island Cruise which was 1 hour drive from there. Absolutely nothing to do in Orilla, would not recommend staying there except like us as a step on a long road trip, we still enjoyed the lake for one evening.

We had a meal at Kelsey's, it was great. Due to rain we pretty much stayed around hotel room, it rained very hard. Traffic in certain areas very heavy, slow going, but a little patience no big problem. We visited area to see a show at the casino, it was cancelled, but we still went, had a good time.

It felt very peaceful, clean, and the friendliness of the ppl, the hospitality of the store owners was remarkable. Where we stayed it was close enough to everything yet just out of the way for peace and relaxation. Can not wait to go back. The beach was amazing with lots for the kids to do of all ages. free parking, snack truck available, Icecream shack,Lots of seating, life guards on duty. I was very impressed. P

Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids. A lot of great places to eat for different budgets. We ate at Theo’s, Fionn McCools and Thai Plate. You will need a vehicle to get around. Just don’t stay at the Stone Gate Inn.

The room was clean and the decor seemed modern and updated. The hotel was in close proximity to the downtown area and dinner options. I also enjoyed that parking was on site and included in the price. The staff was very friendly and the check-in and check-out processes were very prompt.

Breakfast was just toast. Very poor! Our beds were ripped and stains on all the furniture. The staff was trying to be helpful but there wasn't much they could do. I would not recommend this hotel

The location is good and the staff at the hotel were nice and welcoming. The room was cozy and clean except for the wet towel that was left in the bathroom not sure why.
