Loved the free zoo!!
Loved the free zoo!! We packed a picnic lunch & played at the park. We also really enjoyed checking out the boat locks. 241 pizza was delicious & quick for a large order. Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.Guest review byjames

Can't believe anyone would offer such poor accommodations to anyone that the guests don't even want to enter the hotel. Shameful. One of the employees Jake from the front counter was so friendly and I’m pretty sure he helped me the previous time I’ve been there.
