Absolute gem - the quality of the fixture and fittings in the property and the facilities are second to none, just fabulous. The views from the property are outstanding, and we were lucky enough to see numerous otters and eagles at Pacheedaht Beech. We would highly recommend it to other travellers.

The view from the Balcony was amazing, well equipped with four chairs, bbq and gas fire-pit. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Location was good.

I liked Renfrew Pub. I had a lovely meal there, and the staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed visiting Botanical Beach and Bay, and walking through the forest to get there.

The sofa bed - very dirty and uncomfortable. That aside, the rest of the place was great!

It was an ideal stop - we could have stayed another day but our itinerary was calling. The cafe opposite the Hiker Hut was great in the morning for a coffee and we ate at Bridgeman's on the waterfront - a fabulous view.
We were driving but a v popular spot for hikers for the start and end of the trail. Botanical Beach and Botany Bay a must visit

great place to explore the many beaches, fish, get out on the water , etc - all about the outdoor adventure. Key to bring your food, etc. with you as no place to buy much - a few ok to good places to eat , but restricted hours. Great place to bring your dog on vacation - walks from the trail head to many ( but not all ) the beach were long, so not great for young kids

It is a small quaint area.
It is a small quaint area. Don't expect the amenities of a city. They have one little store that has food, snacks and alcohol but selection is limited. Some of the services were not open due to the time of year. The beaches are remarkable and well looked after.

The town is beautiful and the surrounding beaches and parks are outstanding!
If you're planning an off-season visit, be aware that places don't open on regular hours or days. If you plan on eating in (at your stay) bring food from Victoria/Duncan etc. The Market has limited supplies and the staff was not too friendly.
The evening staff at Coastal Kitchen Cafe seemed upset that we came in 50 mins to closing, and treated us like they had better things to do. Food was overpriced and not a good value.

Great place for relaxing and getting in contact with nature.
Be aware that the small town has only one little grocery store with limited open hours, also few options of restaurants, but an awesome place to relax.

Small town for a first time visit and mostly just one night stay. I'd come back in the summer time to do more outdoor activities. It's easy to get around Port Renfrew and everyone is friendly.

Absolutely amazing. I do not have any complain about this place. This is possibly one of the best (if not the best) place to stay in Port Renfrew. I have stayed in other places but this is definitely the best price/quality wise. It felt so relaxing being in the patio with the garden heater on and using the grill. The bed and the sofa/bed were very good, and the cabin was fully equiped. Honestly I am looking forward to stay here again in my next trip to Port Renfrew
Spectacular apartment overlooking Port Renfrew Bay. It was quiet and private and close to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove. Cooking facilities were excellent, and the cupboards were stocked with good spices. PR has limited grocery stores so buy your groceries ahead of time. It is off the grid, which is the charm, but has decent Wifi. The decor is predominantly wood, with many beautiful exotic woods. It was a pleasure to be in these surroundings.
The cabin was clean & cozy, the location was perfect! its close to the beach, hikes & restaurants. The cabin also offers view of the ocean from the balcony . The owners were also lovely & were very informative with all the things to do in & around the port renfrew area! My favorite part was the hot tub it was a big plus after a long day at the beach ! Would most definitely recommend & will be back!
The cabin was comfortable and I had a great one night's stay; the bathrooms were convenient and clean. The WiFi didn't reach the cabins and there is no cell service in Port Renfrew, so something to be aware of.
