We were provided with coffee and large delicious homemade cookies for breakfast. There were flowers on the table, a small fridge, large TV and the supplies in the bathroom included shampoo etc and hairdryer. The room was very large and the bed linens were exceptionally soft and comfortable. The garden was beautiful with sitting areas available to the guests. The owners were delightful. We will definitely be back!

We always enjoy checking out the antique shops etc and new food places. Due to our difficulties and having to find other accommodations there wasn't much time for that so we just relaxed at the 2nd place we went to. Salmon Arm is a nice area to visit and has a lot of different things to see. Great produce and fruit stands and wood carvers among other things.
Although we've stayed numerous times at the Super 8 before we will never again book there. It was a shock and great disappointment to see the changes there. and to hear how others were also being treated during their week long stay as well.

We really liked the beautiful Rotary Park by the wharf.
We really liked the beautiful Rotary Park by the wharf. The wharf was interesting too as the longest curved inland wharf in North America. The ice cream stand at the end of it was a pleasant surprise. All parts of the city we were in had exceptional floral beds … even shops where you would never expect them.

Salmon Arm is a tourist stop.
Salmon Arm is a tourist stop. It is about midway between Calgary and the Lower Mainland. The main highway is being upgraded. We ate at Mr. Mikes which was excellent. The town is nicely situated for longer stays.

Salmon Arm is a good stop between Revelstoke and Vancouver.
Salmon Arm is a good stop between Revelstoke and Vancouver. The Hilltop Inn is a decent property located on a hill on its own. We had dinner at Mr Mike's Steakhouse which serves good food. You can hike, bike, boat and fish in Salmon Arm. Great natural settings.

it was heavy smoke from the fires, so I am not sure if I can answer. we had to go back home to Vancouver as soon as possible. My lesson from it: better to visit Salmon Arm late June-beginning of July, in order to avoid fires.

The location was with in walking distance of downtown and close to several good walks much appreciated. It was also distant from the highway traffic
