Great views, very good food in restaurant and reasonable prices. Nice gift shop. There are lots of great places to go to from there and see and hike. We only stayed one night and got in later in the day. Only real issue was the room was very dark and hot. We had forgotten a small cooler in our room and although I know that there is no cell service no attempt was made to contact us to let us know where it was. We only knew that it was there as we retraced our route.

The accommodation was very dark , small and dated .

The accommodation was very dark , small and dated . There was no Wi-Fi in the room , only in the bar which was not always convenient. The accommodation was very expensive . The room was convenient for travelling to Jasper and the views of the mountains lovely though .

there is no cell phone and no internet connections, I think that it has to be more clearly said in the description. Since we were in need to working contacts, it was a real problem for us and we needed to leave very early morning to drive to a place with cell phone and wifi, really boring. We would have not booked The Crossing if we knew it.

Closer to the Athabasca Icefield glacier tours and centre.

Closer to the Athabasca Icefield glacier tours and centre. The scenery is wonderful from the icefield/lodge to the Sask. Crossing and easy to go back and forth. Only "the Crossing" resort here. Bring your own food or eat at the Crossing which is so so except the breakfast is good if you go early.

    Its Motel.

Its Motel. Its a passable stopping point between Lake Louise and Jasper. Location does not have WIFI or Cell Service. Download your maps offline. The location google maps takes you to is not accurate, the entrace is righ off of the highway, its hard to spot in the night when its foggy. Make sure you gas up here, there are no options for a while in either direction. Same with food/snacks.

The location was the only thing we were really happy about...

The location was the only thing we were really happy about with our stay. Our supper meal at the "buffet" was not good. The food was bad, old, cold and dry, it was very overpriced (29.99/plate) for what we got, and the selection was very limited. The room was very dated, cramped, and had a couple cleanliness issues. (Ex. nail clippings, squished bugs, and food under the bed. The lack of activities for kids was a huge disappointment for us. Even a simple playground or pool would help a lot. There also was nothing to do apart from the Pub, and traveling as a family with kids, that was not an option for us. Not having Wifi in the rooms is a bigger issue, because there is no cell service in the area. Which makes it hard to contact family. Overall we were not happy with our stay. We left feeling ripped off and disappointed. We understand the price reflects the location, but everything else needs to be re-evaluated and upgraded. To top things off the gas prices were inflated 60 cents higher than anywhere else which is ridiculous.

This hotel was in a great location in the middle of the Icefield Parkway. The bar had amazing views of the mountains and served great cocktails. The rooms, while older and small, had everything we needed and were very quiet. We had a lovely veranda looking out into trees with the mountains behind. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Travelling between Yoho National park and Jasper , stayed overnight as we had a tour booked early at Columbia Icefields next morning. Nice gym, coin operated laundry.Three choices of locations for a meal. We chose the Pub , lovely staff , cook your own or all you can eat bar. Hotel bathroom a little dated.

The property was in a great location & had good food choices as there is not a lot of food options close by. We had to change our plans due to a road closure & the manager & staff were incredibly flexible & helpful & went out of their way to assist us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only good things about this hotel are the location, gardens and view.
