Room was nice and clean. The view was also amazing but the breakfast was very disappointing. Very limited options and most of the things were cold.
The Seehotel Sternen welcomes you to Brienz with hiking opportunities and a unique terrace.

Breakfast fresh bread was delicious and fruit, cheese, yogurt, etc all good. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. Pleasant staff. Beautiful lake outside the door was wonderful. Plenty of space also.

Most restraunts are closed or offer toned down menu in off season, so check before going. We went in last week of March and found it difficult to find places to eat in Brienz area. We had to go to Interlaken most of them time.
The view is awsome.

It is a wonderful place, excellent for nice mountain walks or sit at the lake shore reading. The views are extraordinaire and all in all is a must if you want tranquility and clean air.
This said, if you are looking for resorts, American-style places, or party Brienz is not for you. You will find very good Swiss food restaurants and some pizza places, or you can easily buy your meal at Coop or Migros if you're on a tight budget: in such a little place, everything is at a short walk. And is nice and quiet by night. :)

Nine nights.
Nine nights. We had booked six nights originally but had another three days booked elsewhere but glad we added the extra three here. We had EURAIL and Swiss Passes and used them for the trip from Milan to Bienze, the ferry on both lakes several times and train twice to Lucerne and return. Also used it for our onward journey to Paris. Easy access to Jungfraujoch with these passes. Also used train to Lauterbrunnen and onto gondola and train ride from there. Also Rothorn bahn scenic railway (1st train of season June) and ferry for Giessbach Falls. The clouds hovering over the lake were stunning from our rooms and from breakfast room. With these passes no need for a car. There are also Brienze pass available at check-in for extra local discounts.

Sleepy town with little dinning options and attractions during my visit.
Not sure if it is the weather or time of the year. Not as exicting as i imagined. Interlaken would be a better stop to coummune between places.

A nice place for the travellers want to stay away from the busy cities like interlaken and Lucerne. Never the less well connected with both of places with a travel time of 30 minutes to 1 Hour by train. It’s must visit city alongwith the Rothorn Kulm. The lake is very nice and you can find food mart (COOP) very near to Brienz station along with local restaurants there.

We planned really late for this vacation and didn't get much choices in Interlaken with our budget. So, our expectation was low. However, we liked the apartment. The owner was very responsive. It was close to Brienz train station. A bit of an uphill walk from the station but we didn't had trouble with our two large wheeled suitcases, a small wheeled suitcase and a couple of backpacks (family of 3).
The view from our room is spectacular as we can see the Lake Brienz and also the Brienz Rothorn Bahn from our room. The staff that was on duty during our checked-in was very nice and friendly. The breakfast provided was also quite good.
The first thing we like is the view from the hotel, on one side the mountains and on the other side the mountains and the lake, which we could admire while sitting at a delicious breakfast.Room very clean, bed very comfortable
It is near the Brienz Train Station ca. 5 min by Car. The Lake and Mountain View were amazing. Kudos to sir Adi Ghanekar the hotel director for being sympathetic, hospitable and Kind to tourist like us.
