The hotel is set n a former monastery, and one can feel the atmosphere of tranquility and peace. Everything was clean. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. I liked the rural location, but close to public transport, free parking and a restaurant on the site. The staff was nice too. The room overlooked the nice garden. I will return

This motel, particularly room, breakfast and location, were excellent and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to booking with this chain of hotels in the future. The Basel card was an excellent bonus as we used the trams to visit attractions and explore areas of the city that were further out from the centre.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and have all you need. We had a wonderful quiet room facing the courtyard, so no view, but waking up to singing birds was so nice :) Breakfast is amazing, fantastic location. Really recommended!

The location is perfect, very close to the city center and the train station. There’re triple glasses windows in the room, it’s very quiet when I stay in the room even the location is close to the center. The room is very big and clean. Besides that, the staffs in the hotel is very supportive and kind.

Great location by the river, with a terrace for beers/dining. Easy 10 minute trip from station, by tram - stop was almost outside the hotel, just couple of minutes walk away. Good evening meal at the restaurant. Nice walk over the bridge to the old town/shopping area. The multi-coloured LED lighting in the shower was something different!
