Breakfast, very good.
Dislike: Breakfast, very good but in busiest times runned out of eggs, they missed topping up.
The bed/mattress too soft and pillows very uncomfortable. ( room with large balcony) number 11
I also stayed in the room 15 ( large room without balcony) mattress was firmer and pillows were better.

SwitzerlandThe breakfast is outstanding and generous. You are allowed to pack what ever is left over inn foil they provide, which is great if you are with children. The restaurant is peaceful once everyone leaves the slopes. It’s just you and the occupancies of the hotel. I have been here before and will come back again.

The place has so much to offer.
The place has so much to offer. A real laid back place to unwind and relax. We took the cable car to the Stockhutte top and then a trek to Klewenalp was amazing. We saw the paragliders launching from the top and the view was amazing. We took the cable car down from Klewenalp to Beckenried andf then a bus back to Emmeten. This whole trip is covered in a single ticket and well worth it. One may look at doing it in the reverse, since there is continuous climb from Stockhutte to Klewenalp. One saw hardly anyone going the same way as us, but lots of people (some with kids in strollers!) coming the opposite way. Something to think about. There is not much to do in Emmetten except hiking up the...
There is not much to do in Emmetten except hiking up the mountain then taking the cable car down - something one could do anywhere. It is however, cheaper than other places. In hindsight, I would have stayed on beautiful towns on the lake east of Emmetten.Guest review byHadiUnited Kingdom
