Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful view of Stubbach Falls from our room. Great place to walk, shop and eat. Short complimentary bus ride to the ski fields.
The charming, historic and family-run Hotel Oberland in the centre of Lauterbrunnen is only a 5-minute walk away from the train station. The Staubbach waterfall is nearby.

Great location right in the centre of town, easy walk to the big waterfall and to the cable car station, and the train. Old charming building, stairs & floors old & bendy but no problem. Our room looked over the alps from top floor which was wonderful. Swiss style dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Good breakfast as well.
Situated in Lauterbrunnen, 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Hotel Hornerpub features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Perfect for a one night stop over, would be very small for any longer had to move a chair out to make space for bags. lead on kettle to short to reach any plug in room too dangerous to use.
This typical Swiss chalet hotel with mountain views is centrally located in Lauterbrunnen in the heart of the Jungfrau Ski Region, a 3-minute walk from the Train Station.

We had a free upgrade of room due to issues with the first one, the second room was amazing, in all aspects.
Set in Lauterbrunnen, 15 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Hotel Restaurant Jungfrau offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace.

Whole place was shut down and dingy. No facilities. All we had in our room was a kettle which needed an adapter to use it and 2 cups (we booked for 3 people) (no fridge, coffees, teas, welcome pack etc) None of the electric plug holes fitted our plugs. Had to all take turns using the adapter which was attached to the kettle. Restaurant was closed the whole time. No staff to be found anywhere. At night time the whole town was dark. Not even a floodlight on the pretty church which is shown in all the night photos of Lauterbrunnen online. Stayed 4 nights and it was the worst and most expensive stay of our 4 week holiday to Europe. Roadworks at the driveway into the carpark so road workers told us we couldn't enter, tried calling hotel for ages with no answer, it was all locked up.
Featuring garden views, Apartment Breithorn - Charming home - free parking & Wifi offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal.

The apartment was clean, had lots of space and had everything you needed. The location was conveniently near a bus stop to the town or a 15 minute walk. The apartment was really warm and I can imagine you would use the night outside area in the warmer weather. Would stay again.

Perfect location (view of Staubback falls and few steps away from bus stop). Complete amenities, i.e coffee maker and pods, dishwasher, washing machine, heating is perfect, size is also perfect.

The stay at the Chalet was nice. The apartment was spacious and clean. I recommend it. The location is also convenient and beautiful.
Although I would like to point out few things:
1. We were 3 but they just provided linen for 2.
2. Even if they say there is parking, there might me some cars already parked and you might not get space.
3. Third and the biggest is the host was totally unresponsive. Even after texting on the app or WhatsApp or even calling on 2 different numbers they provided, they never responded. Literally never.
I could have asked for linen or anything missing in the apartment but they never replied so it was pointless. I asked them to help me with parking, even then there wo no reply for 2 days of our stay.
The place is nice but our experience with host (ghost) was not nice (nothing).
Whole town was dead. Even the pretty church was NOT lit up at night time - Same church that is shown lit up in all the night time photos of Lautrerbrunnen online. Boring place if you aren't skiing or boarding. Better for just a day trip out from Interlaken if not skiing. A lot more to do and see in Interlaken.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment!
I had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment! The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in without any hassle. They greeted us warmly at the gate and made the process smooth and pleasant.
The apartment itself is fantastic—cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully functional kitchen, a bathroom with warm water, and a toilet room. The wooden construction adds a warm and rustic charm, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Despite the harsh winter, the apartment was perfectly warm and cozy.
This space is ideal for couples but can also accommodate a small family with a child, as there are three beds in the bedroom. The location is very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Lauterbrunnen train station. However, do note that the walk includes a steep uphill stretch of 200–300 meters, though you can also drive directly to the address.
The apartment's location is excellent for exploring the Lauterbrunnen Valley. From Lauterbrunnen station, you have access to trains heading to Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg, and beyond. If you're planning to visit Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe," you can take the yellow-green train from Lauterbrunnen (tickets can be purchased via the SBB app). It's worth booking your tickets in advance for Jungfraujoch. For ski lovers, Kleine Scheidegg is a must-visit destination.
Additionally, the nearby attractions are incredible. You can explore the Lauterbrunnen Valley or take a cable car to Mürren from Stechelberg LSMS. This apartment is a perfect base for enjoying the scenic beauty and activities in the region.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Lauterbrunnen!

Lauterbrunner It's like a valley surrounding with mountains/hills and waterfalls.
Other beautiful places can be easily accessed (by train/gondola) such as Murren, Gimmewald, Schilthorn, Birg, Wengen, Kleinne Scheidegg,Jungfraujoch, Interlaken, Grindelwald Terminal etc
Many coffee shops, restaurants located with outdoor adorable nature sceneries.
There is a Tourist Centre office can provide valuable information (such as weather forecast from live camera, etc) and we can buy cable car tickets (others) for the interest destination (i.e Jungfraujoch).

Its a beautiful place.
Its a beautiful place. Now a days is very touristic and the instagram has done a huge damage, having lots of people taking the "instagram selfie" in the same spot. Thats contributes to lose the nature quiet little village: Also now theres a touristic tax, wich is horrible, plus the very expensive Switzerland. Its beautiful, but sadly with a very hi tourist crowd, moving all around.

Beautiful scenery, plenty to do to fill 2-3 days if the weather is on your side. On our main day we walked to staubbach falls then on to trummelbach falls, then to the cable car to murren, then up to schilthorn, train from murren and cablecar back to Lauterbrunnen. Everything is expensive, of course.

Obviously the most amazing location. Maria at reception was so friendly and helpful, and so was the lady overseeing breakfast. Hotel was easy to find and signposted on the boards. They also included a leaflet of what to do in Lauterbrunnen, which turned out to be essential for our trip! All the lights, equipment, bathroom etc. worked :)
Great location, near train station and cable car station to Murren.
The room is clean and comfortable.
Hotel rooms are not the same building with restaurant, about 50m away
This is a very beautiful and comfortable little hotel located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen! I could not say more, everything was super, I enjoyed my trip very much!
