Didn’t meet one member of staff for the 2 1/2 days I was there. Not very well signposted, as there are a few one way streets to navigate to the parking. My room was on the 3 floor, I couldn’t walk from the bed to the bathroom with my head up straight. The pitch of the roof and being 6ft tall not a good combination. The bed, because of the roof pitch didn’t have a headboard. So I kept waking up through the night, because the pillow kept moving off the bed.
Shower was good, room was clean (one of the cleanest I’ve been in). No English channels on the TV, news could have been good.
When I arrived a man from the restaurant showed me where to go. I found a letter with my name on it. I had to use Google translate, to fill in the form.
I paid for breakfast, I had to go to work early the first morning. However I was there for the second day. The breakfast was a croissant, apple, butter, jam and a small bottle of juice. Not worth it, don’t pay for breakfast. Go to a bakery as there is a few around the hotel.
I’m sure if I wasn’t in the roof space, I may feel a bit better about the stay.
Would I stay here again?

The location is in the middle of beautiful forest and farming country.
Normally I look for places within 5-10 minutes of my destination (Ittigen, Bern), but I enjoyed this place so much, I will definitely stay here again, even though it's about 20 minutes from where I'm going to.
Looking out the windows in the morning, and seeing 3 horses across the road, just made it all that much nicer and "tranquillo".
