Location

Very friendly staff and a very good restaurant. This is only open on Monday and Tuesday but there are alternatives in the area. The hotel is in a quiet location so you can sleep well.

I have stayed in this hotel since it first opened and have stayed there many times as a frequent traveller to Switzerland. Unfortunately, the last two stays have been disappointing because of the lack of professionalism and issues with housekeeping. The housekeeping have an unpleasant attitude. One time I asked them to change the linen (I had stayed many days already)and they said they will do it tomorrow, even though it takes a few minutes to do. Another time they cleaned a small part of the floor and I had to ask them to return to clean the rest. During this stay it had been 5 days and I asked them to clean the floors, when I returned there was crumbs and dirt on the floor, there were three housekeepers so I don’t understand how it can be so difficult. The hotel had very little occupancy (it was not busy) and there are always plenty of housekeepers; they go around in twos or threes but act like spending a few minutes in your room is extremely difficult and irritating. Sometimes one of them is pleasant and willing but it seems another one is disgruntled and discourages them from doing a thorough job. It is also difficult to get dishwasher tablets even though it has a kitchen and does not provide dish soap. Honestly I would happily clean my own apartment if the equipment was provided, but it’s not, and that is their job. The kitchen was missing many basic things such as bowls and a chopping board, when I asked the receptionist, she said she didn’t know if they usually have them, to which I replied “you do, I have stayed here many times.” A housekeeper came and provided some bowls and a chopping board. But did nothing to check if the place was equipped. It’s really disappointing and I suspect there is a wide issue and lack of responsibility from staff. Sometimes the toilet paper is not replaced, the bins are not changed, the soap dispensers not filled etc.

We stayed in a room with a kitchen and bathroom which had all we needed for one nights stay. Great location in the centre of the old town near to the restaurants and bars.

Everything perfect. The family managing the hotel is lovely and very warmly welcoming you. PEOPLE HERE SMILES Space and rooms have minimal stile forniture, yet very nice. Beautiful backgarden where dinner is served (Summer), restaurant with quality plates with bio and local ingredienti Km0. All is quiet and silent. Wlan is fast Prime is reasonable... for Switzerland.

Have now stayed twice at this location for practical reasons. Comfortable accommodation and easy access were our main criteria.
